    Shade is a pretty color, kinda off white, only complaint I have is they are wrinkled and with the backing being plastic, it would be hard to iron them. I am afraid they would melt. so I'm stuck with wrinkled shades.

  • Taos Roman Shade

    I did not realize that this was a cordless blind until it arrived. I am sure it was in the description, but not in a prominent place. The color is more cream than off-white and did not go with my existing blinds as I had hoped it would from the photo on Overstock.com.

Can this be installed on top of an air conditioner that sits in the top portion of the window?  on Jul 11, 2012

I have spoken with the manufacturer and they do not foresee an issue with installing these blinds with a current AC unit. They did let me know that this come with brackets to install the item on the inside of the window frame, and brackets to install this unit on the outside of the window frame, so this should not be an issue. overstockcustomercare1 on Jul 12, 2012
 
 
Are there installation instructions included? Can they be mounted on the outside of the window frame as well as inside?(I think I"ll have to mount mine on the outside).  on Mar 28, 2012

Yes, you can mount these shades inside or outside. It really just depends how you like the look such as if it is outside mount the sides of the head rail show but if it is inside the head rail will not show.
