Awesome platform bed
The bed is quite simple to assemble and is very well packed to avoid scratches or dents. The only comment I have is that the center slat that includes the two center foot supports rquires a very odd attachment methodology (if you follow the directions). After some "activity" on the bed, however, the central support literally turned sideways and there was no longer central support. I then placed a screw in every slat from the top down (not the bottom up in only a few slats which was the recommendation in the instructions). This has worked nicely. Please note--if you do not own a power drill you will not be able to put this bed together. The slates do not have pre-drilled holes and you just need ot use a drill with a Phillps head to dower the screws into the slates. I am quite well versed with tools and thus had no problem wth an alternate assembly method. I could not be happier with this bed which fits so nicely into my minimalist environment.

Fair is a stretch
I hate to leave bad reviews, but in my opinion this bed is one step above crap. I ordered and received this bed last October, and it is now February. The bed creeks. This drives me nuts. A brand new piece of furniture should not do this. I'm actually going to take the bed apart and reassemble it to try to fix this. We'll see. The center support board that runs from the foot to the head has two support stands that make contact to the ground. One of these support stands ripped out of the slat. The anchor itself ripped out when I shifted/slid the bed on a wood floor. The bed slats are very cheap wood slats. I'm actually considering going to Home Depot and replacing them all, when I reassemble the bed itself. OK, that's the bad.... The bed itself, looks great. It really does. The finish is great. The frame itself, I feel, is solid construction; the head, foot, and side rails are great.... if it weren't for the creaking! The "guts" of the bed are not so great. It's fairly easy and straight forward to set up, using the directions that come with the bed. In the end.... I think I got what I paid for. A nice looking bed, that was made to look good and perhaps be best suited for a guest bedroom.
