Anonymous  from St. Petersburg, Florida,  Nov 14, 2008

The chairs were not easy to put together. One of the two chairs sit an angle because the pieces would not fit together properly.

Chairs are ok
from Boston, MA,  Jun 11, 2011

The chairs are great looking, but for a 6' 225 pound man, they werent to comfortable. They were a little tough to put together and I'm an electrician. I woundn't put these chairs on a hard surface because they rock alittle.

Fantastic Bargain!!
from Spartanburg, SC,  Jan 18, 2009

I am delighted with these chairs. There are some minor flaws in the workmanshiip, but they are hardly noticeable. The frames will last forever, and the seats can be easily replaced when they wear out. Not too difficult to put together. The color of the back rest is true to the picture display, but the seats are a medium golden brown, not green as they appear in the display.

Good value for price
 from CT,  Jan 15, 2009

These chairs are comfortable, look stylish, can be changed (both upholstery and back) when you tired of design. Those are the good points. The downside is that assemble can be a nightmare. I purchased and assembled 6 chairs and each one offered a separate problem. HERE'S the KEY to ASSEMBLY: DO NOT TIGHTEN ANY BOLT UNTIL ALL BOLTS ARE IN PLACE. You will not be able to assemble the chair unless all bolts are loose because the holes do not allow for any "play" during assembly. Trust me on this. I dissembled more than one of these chairs completely because it would not fit together until I learned that it needed to be loosely assembled until all pieced were in place. Once you do that, start tightening each of them in any order and you will have a strong, beautiful, comfortable chair. I would still buy more if I needed them. Also, consider buying the taller of the two because they are not that tall. Enjoy!

 from Den,CO,  Jan 11, 2009

These barstools are design for people with little bottoms. Not for those who already have extra padding. But they Look good and it only took me 5hrs to put 6 barstools together.

nice chairs, but difficult to put together
from San Diego,  Dec 18, 2008

These chairs are nice and the seats are not brown as someone stated, they are a dark sage color with a tiny bit of brown in them. They are a good buy but the support side rails are cut an an angle and do not sit flush with the legs on the chair. It causes some spacing but if sanded, they would be fine.My decor in the kitchen is the sidewalk cafe scene and these goes perfect. Thanks again overstock!
