Now that it is properly installed, I'm thinking about ordering these beautiful rainchains for the rest of our downspouts. Installation was not as simple as described as the wires are relatively weak and pliable. When the rain came down, so did the chain. We solved the problem by drilling holes in both sides of the downspout opening and wove the wires through. Now that it is up -- it's gorgeous! Keep in mind that this is for a single story application.

Great quality, easy to hang, had a real bad snow, and very cold ice formed on the chains but they kept working, a real nice addition to the home

The order came very quickly! I have purchased one other rain chain (not from Overstock) and it is the same good quality copper that I payed much more for previously. I will continue to look for my purchasing needs from Overstock first.

I bought this chain a few years ago from O. Living in Michigan, I take it down in winter months. Each spring I am reminded how much I love it. I hang it from the corner of my garage in front of the house where it nestles into a bed of pea gravel. The rain funnels down just as it should. I took a few sections out (very easily) to get the length right. It's no longer shiny copper but a weathered patina. I look forward to staring at it when it rains! It's hypnotic for me :-) I have probably sold a few for O as I get so many compliments.
