I decided to use this writing desk as a bedside table for my guest room. It's perfect and adds a sense of warmth to the room...just what I wanted. It's different without being too ornate or "odd". Great addition to any room's decor! I received two of the same leg, but Overstock took care of the problem within a timely fashion.

The first table I received had been damaged in shipment. Overstock graciously shipped out a replacement quickly. The replacement table arrived in perfect condition. The only assembly task is to screw on the legs. This only took about 10 minutes.

I really am getting good at finding great items through overstock. This may not be for everyone. If you are eye balling it and thinking about it just know that it is an interesting and nice piece. I love it.

Perfect little table for my 27" IMac. If it wasn't sturdy, I would never risk my beloved mac. :) I put the legs on and voila! It's beautiful, subtle and fits with my eclectic mix of antiques and modern furnishings. The little drawer is definitely a plus providing a discreet place to stash the mouse and track pad when not in use. Once again, O.co has surpassed my expectations with a great little piece of furniture at a super price!

i purchased this table to place in my living room, in front of a low window looking directly into a large maple tree. i wanted a place to be able to sit, write, read, reflect simply, with no electronics, just peace and tranquility. a nice little ladder back wicker seat chair with curved lines finishes the 'look' which is a soft spot in my more angular, modern room. the mix of primitive, distress, and delicate formal curves it perfect! and to think... i never have to worry about my first 'ding' i put in on my writing table. it will just share company with the marks placed there for effect! the table was packed well and went together very easily. the quality is excellent for the price, and to complete its plaudits, arabella my maine coon cat loves it; she lounges, sprawling on the top, watching the birds in the nearby branches.

I ordered this table on a Wednesday, received a notice Friday a.m. that it had been shipped and received it that Friday afternoon. It arrived in good condition and was easy to assemble. It's a pretty little table that I wanted for extra space in my dining room and it looks exactly as pictured.

I love this table. It is very stylish and blends well with our Southwest decor. It is a bit elegant but toned down by the rustic touches. I placed it in a small area where I previously had a TV tray that held my husband's papers. This table looks SO much better and holds more papers. It was relatively easy to assemble.

When the table arrived, it was with back legs that were not matching (they are supposed to bow backwards on both sides) and with a drawer slightly but noticeably split on the front-right. We asked for replacement parts but got a UPS guy expecting a return. After a couple more emails, we got what we needed (in about 1 & 1/2 weeks overall) & overall we are pretty happy with it. Bear a couple related things in mind though: The antiquing process varies a lot from piece to piece; for example, the first drawer had a few stray markings, its replacement was rather busy with them. Also the color contrast between lighter & darker woods is not nearly as pronounced as it is in the on-line photo. In the table we have, the top & drawer front are somewhat darker; the outer body lighter. There is still a contrast, but much less bold than shown on-line. Overall though it's a nice table & 4 stars is reasonable despite these concerns.

I would have rated this five star but the drawer had a slight damage. Both front sides were ripped but I was able to repair it with wood glue and the damage is no longer visible. Better packing would have solved the problem. Apart from that, this table is beautiful. Has a distressed finish and it worked perfectly with a mirror i already have. I used this as a hall table and it does not take a lot of space. Price is great and Overstock shipped so quickly! This is my 2nd furniture purchase from Overstock and their shipping fee ($2.00) for furniture can't be beaten. Will definitely shop here again.

Looks exactly like the photo. I'm using as bedside tables but could easily be used in a living room, or foyer. Lightweight and the drawer isn't on any track, but for the price it's a good buy.

Cooper Side Table arrived today and I couldn't be happier with it! Very stylish and super easy to attach the legs that are packaged separately from the table top in the box...also comes with bolts. Very pleased with this purchase. It looks even nicer in person than it does in pictures too.
