I looked for months and checked every store that carried the Maltese (spell?) quilt. I keep coming back to overstock, but could not make up my mind, as the photo did not show the pattern well enough. The feather pattern appeared lacking in style. Finally I decided to go for it and ordered one white and one off white or ivory color. When they arrived, I was pleasantly surprised. There is no other way to describe the quilt other then "simple elegance". I reversed the bed skirts, showing the off white bed skirt with the white quilt and the white quilt with the off white bed skirt. It brought a look of simple beauty to the bedrooms. Everyone who looks at my remodel, loves it.My beagle has jumped on the bed twice with muddy paws during this month; there is no problem washing the quilt. The fabric washes well. It does take longer to dry, because the cotton is between 1/4 and 1/2 " thick. We live in Oklahoma and if the temp is over 60, we feel the quilt is too warm and sleep with a flannel sheet. If someone wants more warmth, they could easily layer with a blanket or electric blanket, to achieve additional that goal.Highly recommend this guilt.

I have to upgrade the bedding in my B&B frequently, and am always on the lookout for high quality quilted coverlets to use in the layering with the RL down comforters. This has been one of the best values so far. The cotton quality is excellent; the cut a bit oversize so shrinkage should be non-issue and it's a nice saturated cocoa brown. Maybe not as totally nice as the $170 version in the other catalog, but 1/3 of the price.

Washes well without shrinkage. You will have to wash it before using it as the packaging leaves a chemical smell on the fabric. I love the way the white one looks in our lavender guest room. Though I do wish that it came with a matching dust ruffle.

These bed coverings are very nice. I bought two for our guest room, and they are well made...a lot of stitching in the paisley pattern.

The quilt fabric is substantial, the pattern is pleasant and the sizing is perfect. I've washed and dried this quilt according to mfg. directions and it looks like new. I highly recommend this quilt.

I bought this quilt for the guest room and another for my bedroom. They are absolutely beautiful, of very good quality and a great deal since the shams are included. The weight is perfect, too- not too heavy, not too light. I'm thinking about buying one in another color.

I was trying to buy another quilt,and was not able to because it was sold out.I decided to purchase this quilt instead.Am I ever glad I did,this quilt is outstanding,the quilting,and the size.The info stated full/queen,but it fits my queen perfectly and I have a very thick mattress.I would highly recommend this quilt!!

a beautiful quality quilt. it looks really expensive with lots of nice stitch detail.the brown color is a very nice chocolate color. i would love to own this in white as well.

Was sooooo pleasantly surprised with these two bedspreads! Exactly as I thought and wanted them to be. 'Classy' is the only word for them. They are for our guest room and they arrived just an hour after our visitors arrived! They thought they were beautiful.....and they definitely were. . I've shopped at Overstock for a few items and have been so wonderfully surprised each time. Thank you. Will definitely be shopping Overstock.com again as I am confident of their value, quality and cost.

I've purchased three of these so far and I will buy more if additional colors become available. The quilt is thick and luxurious becoming softer with each wash. It's not a stark white but I'd describe it as a soft white. This quilt is versatile and looks good with lots of decorating styles - it's a classic. The price is amazing for the outstanding quality. I love Overstock and have never been disappointed.

Not like the scratchy, dusty Matlasse coverlets I've seen and given the "hand" test to in department stores. These are super soft, and have a nice puffy loft to them. Very luxurious and soft. The paisley quilting pattern is elegant and a exotic. I am actually surprised at how luxurious these coverlets are. The price is unbelievable for this kind of quality. Not just for "bedspread" use. My guests will feel pampered snuggling under these lovely, french looking coverlets.

The quit set is very nice, the color wasn't exactly like it appeared in the picture. It has more of a greenish look when next to a blue wall.

I am well satisfied with this quilt. The color and pattern are as expected and it is very comfortable. It looks well constructed. I washed it without a problem, however, I was not as happy with the way it came out of the dryer - rather rumpled and wrinkled; a bit stiff. It took a few days for that to smooth out somewhat. I am still pleased for the price and the service that I've received.

I got the king size for a queen size bed. The dust ruffle is still visible. The length on all sides is perfect. I got it in latte. I was afraid that the color would be to light, but it is not. This is a great value. It was my first purchase with overstock.com. Wonderful experience.

The quilt is great...infact the picture online does not do it justice. The quality and price I could not turn down and I do not think I would have found something better!

This was a Christmas present for my Daughter. I loved everything about this quilt and the price was right. I'd looked at the retail stores and I found nothing to compare to the price. I would have had to spend at least $200.00 at retail stores. I plan to purchase at least 2 more sets for myself.
