Lid is more elongated and actually hangs over the bowl by 2 inches. I was expecting a round lid like the picture. It will do for now.

I was disappointed in that the sitting area is a little thin. The nut and bolt didn't work, but Overstock quickly sent me another one which did work. The color is a light gray, not like the picture, which is okay because I had read that and that's what I needed. It matched perfectly. The good thing is that it is wood and gives support when you sit on the lid, as opposed to a plastic lid.

I ORDERED A GREY TOILET SEAT ON MAR 20TH. I RECEIVED IT AND WHILE INSTALLING IT I NOTICED IT WAS AN ELONGATED SEAR AND I NEEDED A ROUND SEAT. AS THIS WAS MY MISTAKE IKEPT IT AND ORDERED A GREY ROUND SEAT MARCH 26. WHEN IT ARRIVED IT WAS A WHITE SEAT. I RETURNED THE WHITE SEAT .

I just received this toilet seat and was greatly disappointed! The picture looks like a round seat cover but the seat is infact an elongated seat cover. The grey color is also very light - lighter than pictured. I could accept the lighter grey, but the shape will not work and I will have to return this product!
