These knives came in great condition, and are clearly of high quality. I've used them for cutting everything from bread to vegetables to raw meat and they cut like a wonder. I have yet to need the sharpener they came with, but that is a good sign!

After returning the last set of knives, I replaced them with these and am much happier. These have a nice feel to them, a good weight and comfortable grip. They aren't as sharp as I expected, and I wish the set came with steak knives, but I'm still pleased with this purchase.

We wanted knives that were of good quality, durable, and reasonably priced to give as a gift to a young man contemplating a culinary field. Instead of going with the pricier Henkels brand, we believed this set would be a more affordable alternative. The recipient (who was working in a professional kitchen at the time) was thrilled to receive them and still speaks favorably about them months later.

I love the way my knife set looks & works except the shears(scissors) aren't very sharp. They don't work well at all.
