  This is a very useful saute pan. I have used it almost daily and am very happy with the quality. The color is cheerful. It cleans up nicely and there is plenty of room for cooking.

  I was expecting a larger double boiler, but this will do for most of my needs. Iif I have to work with larger quantities, I will go back to the old way, glass mixing bowl over boiling water in pan.

  This is a great pan , after using this pan , i got rid of other 8in. pans.

  I wanted a dutch oven, especially for winter cooking. I wanted something that I could use on the stove top and in the oven. I did not want to pay the price for Le Creuset, so after reading the Lodge reviews, I bought the 6 qt Dutch oven. It does cook well, but the exterior enamel chipped on the lid and the bottom after several months. I wash it by hand, so I was surprised that this happened. Has anyone else experienced this? Or did I just receive one from a bad batch when it was made? I would only rate it good, not excellent due to the chipping. At least the interior hasn't chipped.
