I have not used any of the pieces yet. I do want to say that while one pot turned out to be warped, Overstock sent another entire set free of charge for me to select pieces and then return. It is ready to go and I have received the return label. Overstock makes things very easy.

This is an incredible set of cookware for the price. We had been looking into replacing our non-stick cookware with stainless for some time, but the sets we came across were impractical, with too many huge saute pans, or 1 giant pot and no small ones. This set has the perfect combination of sizes and the double-bottoms are fantastic. They heat up quickly and evenly and we couldn't be more pleased with our purchase/

This is a nice starter set. The pieces are well-made but could be a little heavier. The lids fit great and the assortment of sizes is nice.

I like the look of this cookware, however, food really seems to stick to it when cooking. I have tried using more ollive oil, and it helps a little, but there is alot more food stuck to the pan than with my previous cookware. I am still getting used to it, tho.

This cookware is very nice and heavy. Proud to have visitors use the cookware in my kitchen. I expect this cookware to last for years since they are so heavy.

Very disappointed in this product. Said it was stainless steel cookware. It is so light it could be tin. Kept them, but not at all happy with them. Would not recommend them to another customer.

I used my Blackstar stainless steel cookware set on the first day of its arrival. Doesn't require high heat to cook foods...Actually, I use low heat, and the foods don't have to cook longer than usual. Cookware is easy to clean. For the cost, this cookware is very good quality.

The set is functional and great looking. It has a sturdy feel and works well on open flame stove top. This is stainless steel so it was a easy to clean without worring about rubbing off the non-stick, which it doesn't have.

We are not gourmet chefs so this review may not apply to serious cooks; however we were very pleased with the quality of the product. We noticed a significant difference in how well and evenly it cooked food. It cleans easily, no problems in dishwasher. Extremely pleased with product and the price. It's a shame we can't make this in the US.

While most cooks know that you need to season your food before it will taste good, new cooks might not know that you can also season your pots and pans. Seasoning is a process in which you prepare a pan or other cookware before you use it for the first time. When you season stainless steel pots and pans, you are filling the pores of the pan's surface with carbonized oil, which blocks the oxidation process and therefore keeps the cookware from rusting or pitting. In addition, seasoning helps to prevent food from sticking to the pan. The following steps will teach you how to season and protect your stainless steel pots and pans so they will last longer and work better.

Broiling pans and roasting pans both have specific uses. While there are many similarities between broiling pans and roasting pans, they each specialize in different areas. Roasting pans are normally used to prepare larger cuts of meat because of the deeper shape, which allows the meat to cook in its own juices. Broilers have a shallow, slotted base. The shallow sides of the broiler allow the food to cook more quickly while the slotted bottom of the broiler allows drippings to drain into a pan underneath.
