This is your basic *********** product. lightweight, teflon type non-stick coating. I thought that based upon the description, I was getting something of much better quality. That is, a "stone ware" coating which is supposedly far more resistant to removal of the coating by metal utensils. My wife says to just keep it and she will donate it to a needy family. or the Purple Heart people. Meantime, I will continue to look for the ********* type product.- iow, Porcelain Ceramic Non-Stick Cookware. chas

A great pot! I have been looking for a pot with a pasta insert for a while; the Cuisinart one is a good quality product from a reputable company. Haven't had any problems with it!

I purchased this roaster because I have other multi clad pro products that are made in France. The product info said made in USA, so I figured that was even better. When I received the roaster, it says made in China. So, it is either a knockoff or Cuisinart is now making multi clad pro in China. Don't waste your money, you can get crap made inChina anywhere and pay alot less for it.

I bought this after looking around for a loooong time. The order was delivered quickly and packaged so that every piece was in perfect shape. After washing and drying the cookware I couldn't wait to use my new pans. I was worried that after using the cookware the shine would dull, not so. Cooks evenly and while the cookware is solid it is not so heavy as to be cumbersome. I love this set!

I just love this cookware set!! You really have to know how to cook with stainless steel. Cook with med heat and nothing will stick badly. Remember people you need to let the raw meat cook on each side and test it to see if it is ready to turn. If it is not then leave it till it is ready. I cook scrambled eggs and yes there will be eggs stick on the bottom, but if you put warm soapy water in the pan to sit for a few minutes it will all come out. Overstock and other web sites say to season stainless steel. NO, you don't have to do this. I asked a professional and famous Chef if you needed to do this and he said no need. Once again...I LOVE THIS COOKWARE SET!!!

So tickled to get a new set of cookware. We have only been married 24 years and this is the first set we have actually bought. The first set we received at the reception and the second set we got many years later as a Christmas gift. I have been pleasantly happy with this set. I read all the other reviews and took into consideration what the other reviewers wrote (BTW, thank everyone of you for taking the time to post) I have Bar Keepers Friend on hand at all times to clean the cookware. They do stick if the heat is too high, but I can fix eggs perfectly by adding a small amount of water with the oil to the pan and not turning it up too high. I am thinking we are saving energy since the heat doesn't have to be all the way up. Also the added benefit of NOT having Teflon coating has tickled me pink!!! Can't think who makes that right now, but they can eat their own carcinogens. Also that the cookware isn't aluminum, but steel helps me to sleep because we all know that aluminum is hazardous to our health as well!

When I did the search I added Le Creuset in the search this came up multiple times, so I sent it for a gift for my daughter. I was totally disappointed when she told me it was Cusinart and not Le Creuset. I found for just a few more dollars the same thing on Amazon.com except with the brand that I thought I was ordering. It was totally misleading, a bait and switch! It makes me second guess ordering from overstock.com.

This cookware is great. I thought long and hard about purchasing stainless steel. Like everyone else, I was afraid of the cleanup because I heard that everything would stick. After following the instructions that came with the cookware, clean-up is a breeze. I actually like this more than my non-stick pans. You don't have to use any specific kind of utensil. Just remember that you don't need high heat. I now cook on the #3 on my cooktop and everything cooks evenly and very nice.

This is our second set as the first was replaced by Overstock, Very kind and courteous about it. Second set has been in use 1 year and is pitted and stained and can't be cleaned food also sticks like there is no tomorrow.. We cook on medium heat for everything. Yes, they are nice looking but that is as far as it goes. Just called the manufacture and they will repair or replace but this is not acceptable. We would pay the difference to upgrade to another product from them but they will not allow that. So much for a good company. I personally will never buy another Cuisinart product. Cheap nonstick work much better.

I purchased and received this cookware about a month ago. I couldn't be more pleased with the product. I read all the reviews and noticed there were several complaints of food sticking. I consider myself to be a good cook and having had many years of experience, I realized the complaints had to have come from those who did not "season" the cookware before using it. I took the time to do that and have not had one thing stick in the cookware. It heats evenly as stated and everything I cook in it cooks as if I'm using non-stick cookware. I have to say, I do not put it in the dishwasher or use soap on the skillets as I feel the detergents are too harsh for any cookware and ruin the finish. I have had several different sets of cookware that claim to be some of the best but this definitely wins hands down. The product was received very quickly and I couldn't be happier. Thank you Overstock.com for excellent service and an excellent product at an excellent price.

I was looking for a cookware set with a variety of saucepan sizes. I was really pleased with the pieces. I've been cooking with them for a couple weeks now and I'm happy with them. It was a good purchase; and the price was pretty inexpensive too, so that made it a sweet deal.

I have been wanting this set of Stainless Steel cookware for a few years now and I FINALLY got it! This set is almost as good at All Clad with a Significantly better price. I am actually going to order another set because I need more pots...I cook a lot :) They are on the heavy side, but not as heavy as cast iron. They will last a lifetime and because they are multi-clad all the way around, you don't have to worry about scorching your food. Cleanup is a breeze, I put them in the dishwasher and they come out sparkling. I HIGHLY recommend this cookware.

This Cuisinart cookware set is awesome. I could hardly wait for my new shiny pots and and pans to arrive. I have a family of five and the 12 inch skillet and large size of the saute pan are most appropriate for fixing large amounts of food. I shopped around and Overstock.com had the best price for the quantity received (17 pieces). I wish Cuisinart would have included a Dutch over in the set. That would have made my set totally complete. I would have given the product an excellent rating except for the fact that the handles to the lids get hot and I have to use a potholder to remove when cooking for long periods of time. Nevertheless, I still love my new cookware.

The cookware is quite nice and a great value. I bought it to use at our beach house which we rent, so I'm hoping that it can take the abuse renters give it.

Pots and pans are not very large, so I would not recommend the set to a person cooking for more that 3 persons. The quality is very good to excellent and the set cleans up easily.

You won't have to purchase another pan. This set covers all sizes needed for cooking. I seasoned the fry pans and they work just like a non stick pan set. Lids fit well and the handles DO NOT get hot. Love that about this set.

I am surprised how much I like (and use) this skillet. It's heat transfer (gets hot fast!) and even distribution make it the favorite in my arsenal, so I'm getting rid of all my anodized pans. Even compared to the trusty cast iron (which I'll keep), this is my favorite. Buying more...

I purchased this set for my daughter who loves to cook and has wanted stainless cookware for a long time. She LOVES it and can't stop saying thank you. She had made omlets without sticking and clean-up problems, sauces, veggies etc. all effortlessly and without using much electric as the pots heat so evenly and retain the heat. This is one gift I really scored with and we both recommend it highly.
To get the best results from your cookware, it's important to know which cookware will work best with your electric cooktop. While all pots and pans can be used with an electric stove, different cookware works better with different surfaces. Electric cooktops range from the conventional metal-coil burner to glass-top halogen units, radiant heat burners and induction stove tops that use electromagnetic energy to heat food. To learn which type of cookware will work best with your electric range, keep reading.
The right cookware can make working in the kitchen a real joy. It's all about the metal, because that is the vehicle that delivers heat to food. Before you shop for cookware, consider the different types of metals and their benefits.
One of the most versatile pieces of cookware for any kitchen is the skillet, also known as a fry pan. The types vary in cost, materials, and ease of cleanup. While plenty of skillet choices exist, selecting the one that best suits your needs will help make every dish a success.
Broiling pans and roasting pans both have specific uses. While there are many similarities between broiling pans and roasting pans, they each specialize in different areas. Roasting pans are normally used to prepare larger cuts of meat because of the deeper shape, which allows the meat to cook in its own juices. Broilers have a shallow, slotted base. The shallow sides of the broiler allow the food to cook more quickly while the slotted bottom of the broiler allows drippings to drain into a pan underneath.
