Although the set is very good quality the small sauce pan was not induction ready. I called Overstock and they were very good about replacing it. However, the replacement was the wrong color and it also was not induction ready. If you buy the set, do so expecting that the small sauce pan may not be induction ready. Still a good value.

1 quart sauce pan does not balance without lid and still has a slight tilt. Called customer service of product and told replacement could not sent, I would have to send the complete box of pots and pans at my expense. Customer service not very helpful in resolving issue.

I was so hoping to get frying pans that did not stick without the nonstick coating. Unfortunately, these were not the ones. I really like the sauce pans that came in the set, but the frying pans stick. I've tried both the cooking spray and cooking oil. The food stuck badly using both. Tried preheating pan and not preheating. Nothing works. I also purchased the 11 qt pan which has the same sticking issues.

This set is completely acceptable for a regular cook. The saute pans (if that's even the right word!) are a little small but if you had paid attention to the description, unlike myself, you would know that. The sauce pan is also small but again, read the dimensions. The red is a nice bright red color and thus far, I am completely satisfied with my set. I bought them before there were any reviews so I took a chance and it paid off.

I was pleasantly surprised when I received this cookware. The quality is quite exceptional for the price. I have used the sauce pans and they heat quickly and evenly. I am very pleased with this set.

Gourmet Chef 12-piece Covered Cookware Set, nice but not what the reviews claimed. overstock claimed the set was induction top usable. Only the small sauce pan worked on my induction stove top. Returned the set.

Bought these for my sister. These are a nice average set of pans. The set however could use a larger sauce pan.

This is a terrific set for the price. My only personal improvement would be fewer frying pans and another large sauce pan or dutch oven.

This pot and pan set are fine for the money. The frying pan is sort of small and the sauce pans are somewhat shallow, but they're relatively heavy, and for how inexpensive they are I would get them again.

The sauce pans are very shallow which was disapointting. The quality of the pans is great, but I doubt I will be able to make any larger meals with them. Should be fine for a single person, but would not be recemendened for someone cooking for more than two.

I received the pots and although they look very nice I thought they were flimsy, light weight. I needed come sauce pans so I kept them.

I found that the two sauce pans were way too small to be much use. It is hard to know the size from a description.

Can I just say, I love this cookware set! I was having a bit of buyers remorse after I ordered them I initially ordered them because of the price, very reasonable. Then I started worrying about the color. All of that time worrying was wasted! I love the color. It goes with my whole kitchen perfectly. I love using them....especially the small sauce pan....it's cute!

*** This so-called "induction ready" set has four pans: 1-quart sauce pan, 10-inch fry pan, 3-quart sauce pan, 5-quart casserole. Only the larger two pans (3-qt and 5-qt) had enough iron in them to activate the auto-pan-detect feature of my DuxTop 8300ST Induction Burner. The two smaller pans cannot be detected and do not work. *** I will be returning the whole order. Too bad. What a disappointing hassle.

This is my first tri-ply stainless steel cookware. It is a very nice starter set. I wished it had a 3.5 quart pot & a 12" saucepan in this set. I will be getting rid of my teflon ones real soon. I really enjoyed cooking with the sauce pan. It browns well and I can make my fried fish crispy. Food does stick, but It cleans up pretty easily with a little bit of soaking in water. The handles on the pans do stay cool. However, don't touch the lid without a pot holder.

I recently ordered this new Cuisinart 17 piece cookware set and threw my old pots and pans into the trash! What I liked about this set was the size of the sauce pans: 1 1/2 quart, 2 qt and 3qt and 4 frypans, one which is very deep. Nothing sticks to them and they wash up just great! The handles stay cool even when the food is boiling hot! You'll be sure to like them!

I was shopping for a set of stainless steel cookware. I looked at all the usual suspects and for one reason or another ... rejected them. Some were just too expensive ... others had just the aluminium disk bonded to the bottom and still others felt light and cheaply made. I then stumbled on to the Cooks Standard 10 piece set. I was somewhat surprised that it is fully clad. An aluminum layer incased in two layers of stainless steel. Unlike other cookware in this price range, the stainless is 18/10 surgical stainless steel. I could not find any samples to look at but read all the information I could find along with various reviews and decided to take a chance. I am not disappointed! Beautifully shinny on the outside it looks great hanging on my pot rack. The aluminum core heats evenly and the sauce pans warm up the sides. Clean-up has been a breeze. Some hot water and a quick scrub with a "scrubby sponge" and its clean. If there is any residue from the food ... I use a little Bar Keepers Friend and the pan shines like new. I would recommend this cookware to anyone who wants the quality of a fully clad pot or pan but cannot or will not pay the price of the alternative brand.

Stainless steel frying pans are frequently used by professional chefs and serious cooks at home. Unlike cast-iron fry pans, stainless steel fry pans do not need to be seasoned before use; and unlike nonstick fry pans, you will need to use oil to avoid food sticking to the surface of your stainless steel fry pan and even then, some food will still stick. While these facts might seem like disadvantages, they're actually the reasons why many cooks prefer to use stainless steel fry pans. High-quality stainless steel cookware may not be the best for cooking things like eggs, but for the most flavorful searing of fish, meat and vegetables, stainless steel fry pans are unrivaled. The following steps will teach you how break in your stainless steel fry pan before each use.
