Love these pots and pans! You do have to be careful not to scorch food in them. Do not cook on high because they are not non stick. Be sure and put water in the pans as soon as you are finished cooking then they will clean up easily. I like the fact they they can go in the oven ,too!

This is the first time for me to use Rachael Ray 11 Red Porcelain Enamel Nonstick cookware set. Very pleased because the range that we have cooks uneven. With Rachael Ray pots and pans now my food cooks even. Would tell all my friends to buy this product. Thank you Overstock.com Mrs A. Boria

I like my new stainless steal pots and pans, they conduct the heat evenly with low heat. Water boils quicker, and foods cook evenly. It is a beautiful set of cookware for the price.

I like the look of this cookware, however, food really seems to stick to it when cooking. I have tried using more ollive oil, and it helps a little, but there is alot more food stuck to the pan than with my previous cookware. I am still getting used to it, tho.

I bought this cookware set almost a year ago & am VERY pleased with this product! My former Teflon set came from (insert big name box store here) & the coating on the pans peeled off, but this set HAS NOT! I've had a few scratches from other people using metal cooking utensils, (ugh), but they don't seem to affect any of the non-stick surface; I haven't seen any kind of build-up of the food on those scratches, so I'm counting that as good. I also ordered the 7.5 wide stock pot & my only regret is that I didn't order 2 of these. I'm not what you would call a gourmet cook, but I cook every day for my immediate family & occasionally for my extended family. The only thing that I would say is that as the bottom is thin, be very careful when putting something on high heat & WATCH it! (My Belgique had GREAT bottom!) Very easy cleanup & they look really nice. I would recommend this set to the casual cook.

The last set of cookware I got about 9 yrs ago, it was an expensive investment, but I thought the the name in itself was as good as the mixer I had bought. WRONG, they had barely lasted 5 years, before all the interior started coming off in MY FOOD. I always cleaned my cookware by hand, but that had no impact to the damage, as it continued to fail. I saved up some money, and finally got what I wanted, and that was this beautiful set from Paula, I could not be happier. I have had the two sets I bought now, for about 4 months, and they still look exactly as they did when they were delivered. I still wash by hand, but that is just my choice, as I am sure they would hold up in the dishwasher just fine. Ladies you must get this set, you have earned it, esp if you love to cook, or not, these have wonderful handles that stay cool, and are made so well, that they stay balanced when removing from stove, which lessens the cause of most burns in the kitchen. I am a nurse, worked in the ER. I have seen first hand what severe burns anyone can get, if you lose grip on a pan, the handles feel like they are made for your hands, with a great soft feel, with more control when you are handling hot items from your cooktop to another location. I didnt know this when I bought them, but they should tell people about this wonderful balance, between the hot pan and the person using it. It just may save alot of people from being severley burned, or a child who is underfoot in the kitchen being badly burned. I know this review is long, but it needed to be to tell about what I noticed using mine. I LOVE them, and they wash up like they are new day after day. I couldnt have made a better choice. I LOVE to cook, and this beautiful aqua set is just what the Doctor ordered. Living and cooking on Grand Lake, in Ok.

great cookware set. I have to say, the set is very durable. the handle feels comfortable and the pots are heavy enough to hold the foods and not overweight to make the cooking like an exercise. that's genius. I used to have some pots. but they are either too light or too heavy. with this set, I cook more at home and enjoy the time cooking every much. thanks to the set, I have a healthier life style. you should really consider this set. it's a sincere helper at home.

This pot set is of very good quality. I like the handles a lot because they don't get hot while cooking. The food does not stick to bottom and the frying pan makes great pancakes. The only disappointment I have is that I thought the set had bigger pots. This set seems more suitable for a single person or small family so pay attention to the size of the pots before buying.

I have been wanting this set of Stainless Steel cookware for a few years now and I FINALLY got it! This set is almost as good at All Clad with a Significantly better price. I am actually going to order another set because I need more pots...I cook a lot :) They are on the heavy side, but not as heavy as cast iron. They will last a lifetime and because they are multi-clad all the way around, you don't have to worry about scorching your food. Cleanup is a breeze, I put them in the dishwasher and they come out sparkling. I HIGHLY recommend this cookware.

I purchased this item to replace my old coated cook wares.I expected this item would serve better in sense of weight, non-stickiness and food contamination. Weight is okay and also low contamination but I am not satisfied with non-sticky performance. In fact, all the times cooking needs to be done with more caution. I hope it will serve better in long term. Good in this price.

I bought this set for my daughter-in-law and she just told me she LOVES, LOVES, LOVES it! Loves the color, loves the style and loves the way these pans cook food!

I love my cast iron fry pan that is properly cured but I find these pans just as good for cooking without having the food stick to the surface. But what I like the best is they don't scratch as easily as teflon pans. They clean up easily, cook evenly, and look great hanging in my kitchen. The only thing I could find negative is the fact that you should use a little oil, spray, or butter to achieve the results they show on TV.

I was shopping for a set of stainless steel cookware. I looked at all the usual suspects and for one reason or another ... rejected them. Some were just too expensive ... others had just the aluminium disk bonded to the bottom and still others felt light and cheaply made. I then stumbled on to the Cooks Standard 10 piece set. I was somewhat surprised that it is fully clad. An aluminum layer incased in two layers of stainless steel. Unlike other cookware in this price range, the stainless is 18/10 surgical stainless steel. I could not find any samples to look at but read all the information I could find along with various reviews and decided to take a chance. I am not disappointed! Beautifully shinny on the outside it looks great hanging on my pot rack. The aluminum core heats evenly and the sauce pans warm up the sides. Clean-up has been a breeze. Some hot water and a quick scrub with a "scrubby sponge" and its clean. If there is any residue from the food ... I use a little Bar Keepers Friend and the pan shines like new. I would recommend this cookware to anyone who wants the quality of a fully clad pot or pan but cannot or will not pay the price of the alternative brand.

I have just owned this set for less than a month now. I used only 2 pots and here what I found. Pros: 1. Pots look nice and shiny. 2. Steam opening in the glass lid is a great feature. The steam escapes from there. When the food is cooking or boiling, water or steam doesn?t scatter all around the pot or lid causing a mess on the range. 3. Pots bottom look heavy and food cooks evenly. 4. Handles and lid knob never get hot. They stay cool the whole cooking time. 5. Food doesn?t get stuck. Even rice it was ok. Just few rice grains have stuck, and it was very easy to clean by soaking the pot in water for short time then washing it by hand. I didn?t use the dishwasher to wash the pans, although they are dishwasher safe. I washed the lids in dishwasher though. 6. To keep the interior shiny and to remove any stains or discoloration, I used Bar Keeper Friend. It keeps the pots shiny and looks like new with minimal effort and cost. It was less than $ 2.00 Cons: I don?t like how the handles are connected to the pots. The handles are just soldered to the pot. There is no single screw that connects the handles to the put. When you look to the pot from the side and see the handle, the handle looks low quality and doesn?t look nice. Handles look sturdy though.

I read many, many reviews before deciding to purchase this set. I really wanted to try a good quality (18/10) stainless steel set without spending hundreds of dollars. I expected this set to be mediocre, just suitable for my needs. I was pleasantly surprised as it seems others were as well. This set is nice. I have cooked my usual assortment of foods in these pans and have (hand) washed them several times. Eggs are tricky to clean off but I have decided to keep one high quality non-stick pan around for eggs. It just takes a little patience and elbow grease to keep these pans clean. (Eggs are just messier than I care to deal with all the time.) I love how shiny they are. I have not had hot handles yet. I finished a steak in the oven with a skillet and obviously the handle became too hot to touch for that purpose, but the pan did quite well in the oven and cleaned up well. This was a great purchase for me.

We are not gourmet chefs so this review may not apply to serious cooks; however we were very pleased with the quality of the product. We noticed a significant difference in how well and evenly it cooked food. It cleans easily, no problems in dishwasher. Extremely pleased with product and the price. It's a shame we can't make this in the US.

Read the product reviews before purchasing and feel that I got a great deal! Cookware looks nice and less food sticks in these pans than did my non-stick cookware. I use them on an induction cook top and was concerned that there might be humming, but these are solid and there is no humming with this set. Very happy thus far, just wish I had a few more pieces.

I purchased this as a gift for a new to cooking bachelor. It has withstood his abuse without losing its finish. The exterior does have a tendency to mar easily, however it does not affect the use of the cookware. The design of the contour is stylish. The stockpot is the large 8 qt, which lends nicely to cooking pasta for 4. Overall the set is great to cook with. I will say that this was not bought as a lifetime purchase. I have over the last 20 years, bought 2 non stick Cuisinart sets. replacing them at about 7 years. Unlike other reviewers, the coating did not flake off into my food, rather it slowly lost its effectiveness. As long as you do not try to cook with high heat, this set should last a long time. I have since graduated to cooking on stainless steel, but still have, love and use a few nonstick pieces.

Being a devout Teflon user I was Leary of stainless. I had seen lower end stainless products just burn food to the cookware and every time food was prepared it would hiss , burned and splash when stirred or poured from the pan. So far wit this set I have not seen that. It cooks almost like Teflon cookware. Only once have I had to use cleaner for burned on stir fry. These pans live up to the standard of the all clad stainless sets the cost 3-4 times the amount.

Whether you're frying eggs or making a gourmet meal, you need a quality skillet to cook with. Some of the most frequently used cookware items, skillets, also known as fry pans, are made of various metals, with or without nonstick coatings. You can also buy an electric skillet to cook breakfast or dinner foods quickly. With the many skillet options available, you may be unsure of the right pans to buy. This guide will provide you with tips on buying the best skillet for your kitchen.
Stainless steel frying pans are frequently used by professional chefs and serious cooks at home. Unlike cast-iron fry pans, stainless steel fry pans do not need to be seasoned before use; and unlike nonstick fry pans, you will need to use oil to avoid food sticking to the surface of your stainless steel fry pan and even then, some food will still stick. While these facts might seem like disadvantages, they're actually the reasons why many cooks prefer to use stainless steel fry pans. High-quality stainless steel cookware may not be the best for cooking things like eggs, but for the most flavorful searing of fish, meat and vegetables, stainless steel fry pans are unrivaled. The following steps will teach you how break in your stainless steel fry pan before each use.
You love your nonstick cookware, so take good care of it. Nonstick cookware has a special coating that can make your cooking healthier by reducing the amount of fat and oil you need to use in your cooking. A nonstick coating also makes it easier to clean your pots and pans, but improper care can ruin the nonstick coating, which causes foods to stick, makes cleaning more difficult and reduces the lifespan of your cookware. The following tips will help you care for your nonstick pans and keep them working like new. By properly caring for your nonstick cookware after each use, you can be assured it will last a long time and remain in good condition.
Many bowls and plates are considered microwave safe; however, if you use the wrong dish, you could ruin both the dinnerware and the dinner. Microwaves are convenient appliances, but there are a few precautions you should know about when it comes to your dishes. Always check to see if a dish is microwave safe before using it in the microwave. Some containers can break, melt or scald you. Some containers can also damage your microwave, such as foil-lined containers. Microwave-safe dishes can be used to both cook and store food. Non-microwave safe containers can only be used for storage or serving.
The right cookware can make working in the kitchen a real joy. It's all about the metal, because that is the vehicle that delivers heat to food. Before you shop for cookware, consider the different types of metals and their benefits.
To get the best results from your cookware, it's important to know which cookware will work best with your electric cooktop. While all pots and pans can be used with an electric stove, different cookware works better with different surfaces. Electric cooktops range from the conventional metal-coil burner to glass-top halogen units, radiant heat burners and induction stove tops that use electromagnetic energy to heat food. To learn which type of cookware will work best with your electric range, keep reading.
For chefs with strong opinions and a no-nonsense approach to cooking, stainless steel cookware is a popular choice. Prized for its resistance to staining, odors, and the transference of flavors, stainless steel cookware is a sound choice for any kitchen. It does require some special care, however, if you want to make the most of your pots and pans.
Enjoying a delicious meal around the campfire is a wonderful way to bond with loved ones or reflect on your amazing survival skills and the wonder of nature. To keep your camping trips simple and your camping gear collection inexpensive, consider camp cooking without a camp stove. Many bonfire lovers bring wire hangers to straighten out and use, but as a savvy camper and a smart shopper of camping supplies, you know you can find a better way. To make perfect hot dogs, juicy casseroles and award-winning cobblers as part of your camp cooking, look for handy camping equipment and camping supplies.
One of the most versatile pieces of cookware for any kitchen is the skillet, also known as a fry pan. The types vary in cost, materials, and ease of cleanup. While plenty of skillet choices exist, selecting the one that best suits your needs will help make every dish a success.
Bakeware has come a long way over the past few years. Metal and glass have given up their spots as the state-of-the-art of baking in lieu of more temperature-stable silicone bakeware. Silicone bakeware is nonstick, flexible, and cooks very evenly, and it does it all using less oil, butter and shortening.

There are many tips you can use to make the most of a small kitchen.
They say the kitchen is the heart of a home, but in many homes, it's also the biggest source of energy waste. Kitchen lighting, refrigeration and cooking consume about 41.5 percent of the total home energy use; add space heating, cooling, and water heating to that total, and you'll see your kitchen is quite the energy hog. Creating an eco-friendly kitchen includes your choice of appliances, but it also goes beyond that; the floors, paint, pots and pans, and other kitchen items you use can make your kitchen eco-friendly as well.
