I've used Cuisinart for about 3 months. This cookware is everything that I had read it to be, but if you are working full-time and then come home to feed and care for a family, cleaning this cookware by hand will probably get old real fast. It cannot be put into the dishwasher, although it does clean up easy enough. This cookware is beautiful and cooks nicely. Be careful not to use metal utensils because it will cut and scratch quickly. Other than that, I am very pleased with it.

I am happy with my set of Cuisinart Cookware. My only comment is that the handles do get hot. Keep an OvGlove close!

Cooks Standard multi-ply cookware is well made, well balanced, and gives great cooking results. Each piece is pretty hefty but the handles are easy to hold, feel good in the hand, and are very well balanced. (I personally love the weight of this cookware but it might be an issue if a person had wrist or arm problems.) Now that I have these, any other cookware seems so light and flimsy. I did a lot of research online and in local stores to determine what I wanted. The fit and finish are comparable to all-clad, if that tells you anything. The entire pans are made of 3 layers of metal - aluminum sandwiched between 2 layers of stainless steel. This was important to me because I have seen other people have issues with the pans with the 3 layers only bonded on the bottom - issues that range from warping to having the bottom fall off of the pan. I did not want that to happen! Plus having 3 layers all the way up the sides lets heat transfer all the way up the sides to help with cooking. They hold heat for much longer. I can remove the pan from heat and still keep the food warm for much longer than my old non-stick pans. The metal lids fit tight to the pans. The lid handles may become warm and so you should be prepared to use a hotpad if necessary. I have had no issues with the handles being hot on the pans themselves. As advertised, they are really stay-cool. The handles are riveted and the feel is solid, there is no wiggling or any looseness. I bought these to replace traditional non-stick pots and pans. I knew I would have to change the way I cook a bit in order to start cooking successfully with stainless steel. A couple of the biggest changes were using much lower heat and preheating the pans. The very first things I tried cooking were eggs and oatmeal. For the eggs, I preheated the pan, tossed in some butter, swirled it around until melted, and cracked in a couple eggs. I used a heat setting of 3-4 instead of 6-7 with non-stick. When time to flip for over easy eggs, I was sure there would be some sticking. Amazingly there was none! The eggs easily slid around in the pan and turning them was no problem! They also slid smoothly out of the pan and onto the plate. Clean up was incredibly easy as well. Just a swipe with a paper-towel, let it cool, then wash with hot soapy water. Almost easier than the non-stick! The oatmeal was also surprisingly easy to cook with no scorching, no sticking, no gummed up pan. Same easy cleanup - just let pan cool and wash in hot soapy water. (For any reviews that complain about food sticking/burning, I personally think that has more to do with the cooks than the cookware.) The paperwork and description both say that these are dishwasher safe and I believe it but I choose to hand-wash to preserve the finish. Dishwasher detergent is rough on finishes and, personally, I want to keep these looking bright and shiny! Also, it is good to have a can of Barkeepers Friend on hand to clean up anything that might end up sticking. BF cleans well and doesn't scratch at all. I am very happy with my purchase and highly recommend Cooks Standard to anyone. This cookware is nice and solid but doesn't take a huge bite out of your wallet. I have no doubt that this will last for many years and may be the last set of cookware I ever buy.

Great looking and working cookware. I like the glass lids and the slightly retro-design. Comparable to my old set of circulon. Delivery was prompt. Price was wonderful.

This is my first set of brand new pots and pans in over 30 years and I am loving it. So easy to clean and no sticking of food just let them cool down and then wash with soap and water and presto their clean.

I bought this after looking around for a loooong time. The order was delivered quickly and packaged so that every piece was in perfect shape. After washing and drying the cookware I couldn't wait to use my new pans. I was worried that after using the cookware the shine would dull, not so. Cooks evenly and while the cookware is solid it is not so heavy as to be cumbersome. I love this set!

Beautiful product! Cooks very well. And the service by Overstock.com? I can't say enough good things about it. My cookware arrived before the message announcing it was shipped! I'm recommending you to all my friends.

Pots and pans are not very large, so I would not recommend the set to a person cooking for more that 3 persons. The quality is very good to excellent and the set cleans up easily.

This is the best online purchase I've made... I bought this set for my father, and he said the quality is better than sets he has bought in the past. He has always purchased top quality and higher price mark. I will definitely purchase from Overstock again..

I was looking for a good set of cookware for a well-used kitchen. The item that has been used most is the pasta cooker and it works very well. The handles do stay cool and are comfortable to hold.

This is a great cookware set. It was well packaged in the box, all of the pieces are VERY shiny, no scratches, marks etc. Handles are very sturdily attached with oversized rivets. Lids fit well, and are also very highly polished stainless steel. Comes with lifetime warranty from Cuisinart. I was anticipating getting this set, and I am most pleased with what arrived. I highly recommend.

I was looking for a cookware set with a variety of saucepan sizes. I was really pleased with the pieces. I've been cooking with them for a couple weeks now and I'm happy with them. It was a good purchase; and the price was pretty inexpensive too, so that made it a sweet deal.

So tickled to get a new set of cookware. We have only been married 24 years and this is the first set we have actually bought. The first set we received at the reception and the second set we got many years later as a Christmas gift. I have been pleasantly happy with this set. I read all the other reviews and took into consideration what the other reviewers wrote (BTW, thank everyone of you for taking the time to post) I have Bar Keepers Friend on hand at all times to clean the cookware. They do stick if the heat is too high, but I can fix eggs perfectly by adding a small amount of water with the oil to the pan and not turning it up too high. I am thinking we are saving energy since the heat doesn't have to be all the way up. Also the added benefit of NOT having Teflon coating has tickled me pink!!! Can't think who makes that right now, but they can eat their own carcinogens. Also that the cookware isn't aluminum, but steel helps me to sleep because we all know that aluminum is hazardous to our health as well!

I have had these pots and pans for about a month now and I really like them. To be fair, you could probably purchase a better set of stainless steel cookware for the same price, but I specifically wanted these for the orange rubber handles since my kitchen is orange. The pots themselves are very thin stainless steel, which is good since they are not a higher grade set with aluminum cores. Instead, they just have aluminum bottoms to conduct heat - so if you are a professional chef or very picky about cookware, these are probably not good enough quality for you. I have also noticed some weird spotting inside the pots once they've been used for the first time. For example, I cooked beans in one of the pots and now there are literally little outlines of beans permanently scribbled all over of the bottom (inside) of the pot! Not sure if I can get some sort of cleaner to shine them out. All in all, these pots are very aesthetically pleasing and good for everyday use. I would recommend them, but I might have rated them average if I had not gotten such a great discount at the time I bought them.

I bought this set for my husband for Christmas who loves to cook. It is a great quality cookware set. Because of the way it is made it takes less time to cook while cooking at lower temperatures. Keep that in mind while using this set, as you might end up over cooking your food. I would highly recommend this set to anyone. Please note: it is not dishwasher safe!

Purchased this as a wedding gift. After all, every couple needs a good set of cookware. I consider Cuisinart or ******** *** the best.

Wanted to upgrade after 20 years of non-stick cookware, after doing research I decided on stainless steel and how food was so much more flavorful, so glad I did! It takes a little practice if you've never cooked with stainless, so definitely do your homework! Can't express this enough. I went with these because they are tri-ply bonded, meaning aluminum sandwiched in between stainless, which will give you a nice even heat. This is not just an added on bottom that contains the aluminum" like a lot of them I reviewed" but the full pan, which will also give you a much better even heat up the sides as well. These are a nice medium weight and durable. The only thing I wish they would have added is lids to fit the skillet as the ones that come with it will not, but you can always find lids elsewhere that will. I managed to cook some scrambled eggs that slid right out of the pan and the flavor was amazing! It's all about heating your pan up first and getting it to the right temperature. Boy have I been missing out with the non-stick! And yes, you can season your stainless steel pans, here's some tips I learned...... Here are the simple steps to create a naturally occurring non stick stainless steel pan! On medium to medium high heat, heat your pan for 2-3 minutes. Melt a little coconut oil or other high heat oil in your pan and swirl the oil around to evenly coat the pan. Allow the oil to smoke (don?t worry, we will be tossing this oil out)! Once the oil has smoked, turn off your burner and remove pan from heat source and allow to cool completely. You know your pan is seasoned and ready if you can see your mirror reflection of yourself in the pan . Once the pan has cooled, pour out the oil and wipe the pan out with a paper towel. You now have a seasoned nonstick stainless steel pan. If you wash it with soap and water, you will need to season it again. You can't beat this stainless steel set for the price, they are of very nice quality and will last you a long time if taken care of. I'm very pleased!

I bought this set from OS but then saw a comparable set from another company much cheaper but decided not to return it since it is such a hassle to return stuff to OS. I have not started using it so I cannot say about the quality as yet.--- sorry.
