Cooks Essentials K26763 250-watt 1.5-cup Black Slate Mini Chopper (Refurbished)

This little chopper has so much power, it chops in seconds, is easy to open/close and clean up is a snap. It's small size let's me keep it on the counter without taking up much space and that let's me use it for all my cutting/chopping without the hassel of dragging out my larger food processor from the cabinet. I love it, bought one for my daughter too.

I purchased this very cute chopper because I wanted something that wouldn't make every vegetable into "salsa," but this chopper is just like so many others out there. It chops the food at the bottom into a fine mush, and the rest of it stays in big chunks. That's not the worst of it, though...it was very hard to get the bowl to snap into place, and then get the top aligned (there are arrows pointing to where it needs to go) so that it powers on when you press the button at the top. This took several tries, then when I did get it lined up, the food in the chopper was turned to mulch. After dumping the first round of veggies into a bowl to try again, I snapped the bowl into place, and a big chunk of plastic broke off the bowl, rendering the toggle switch that tells the "ON" button it's okay to start chopping, useless. With the bowl broken in the place that presses the little lever in, it's un-useable. I don't recommend.
