I bought this thing, thinking I could speed up my burger making activities. In concept, this a is a fine idea. In practice, though I have never got to use it, because it will not fit on either of my 2 sausage stuffers, nor my Kitchen Aid meat grinder. I am hanging onto it because it didn't cost much, and sometime in the future I am going to have to upgrade my grinder; at which time I will choose a grinder that this thing will fit on.

I've had a pasta press before that was not this wide. It works so well. My electric KitchenAid attachment doesn't work well. The pasta is a sticky clumpy mess. We use this all the time. Our friends love it too.

I tried to use this pasta maker once. It would not clamp tightly to my counter and dough and flour went everywhere. Spend the extra $$$ and get a kitchenaid attachment for that mixer

I had shopped pasta attachments to my KitchenAid and was shocked at the price for EACH piece. When I discovered this pasta machine, I was leery. I am pleased to report this is the best item I have purchased in a long while. I made taglatelli my first go round. Excellent! I am making ravioli next. The handle does slip off, but if you have an extra pair of hands, this can be overcome. It is easy now to make fresh pasta. Grnsmrk

I really thought this would be a cheap item. What a wonderfull surprise. It is good quality, easy to use and exactly what I was looking for. I did not want to use my KitchenAid for making pasta so I thought I would try this. It was exactly what it said. My grandkids and I had such fun making pasta and I have used it multiple times since. Give it a try you won't be disappointed.

It was a toss up between buying the kitchenaid food strainer and meat grinder attachments, or the Roma Food Strainer. I was able to borrow my neighbor's Roma strainer and I made my decision right away to buy one for myself. It was so easy to set up and I couldn't believe how easy and quick it was to do a whole batch of plum tomatoes from my garden. Cleanup was just as easy! The food dish is so large. It accommodated quite a large amount of tomatoes at one time. The process was so quick and delivered a very nice looking puree. I am very happy with this product. You don't have to spend a lot of money on the electric machines. This one does the job!
