My family loves pasta and you can't beat this price or quality. From start to finish it is great and the whole family can be a part of the process.

This is an excellent Christmas gift for one of my daughters and her family. She has a son that is 8 years old and LOVES his pasta. This will give him a chance to help his mom make all types of pasta and then enjoy the fruits of his labor. Her husband will really enjoy this gift also and will enjoy learning how to make pasta. This is a great family gift. It would give the family time together and teach everyone patience and a new skill. GREAT gift.

With all I have to choose from with My Kitchen Aid Mixer to make Pasta with 5 attachments, this is a must have. It dried my Fresh pasta and kept it separate from all the batch. Very Good choice when you take the time to do things from scratch for your family.

I bought this as a gift. Did much looking/reading about pasta makers and was concerned that at this great price it would not work very well. It is a hit. They love the machine - easy to use. Perfect size. The handle does come out but that is not a problem as it needs to. My son's family is making pasta everyweek. They love it.

Iím new to canning and preserving. It is one of my methods to stretch my food dollars. The Roma Food Strainer made processing gallons of cinnamon applesauce painless so I had special gifts for my family members. My only criticism of the Roma Strainer is that neither the suction nor the C-clamp base was sufficient to keep the strainer attached to the counter; however, as with most things, duct tape fixed the problem. Iím sure there are appliances that process produce faster or easier, but for the price, the Roma canít be beat.

It isn't quite what I expected in quality or size. This ladle is so big that you could almost cook your pot of soup in it. It would work well for a huge event with an even huger pot (like the old wagon trains used). The site shows it as being polished aluminum, but it isn't. It is the "cheap" aluminum type and it also isn't very stiff alumuminum either. But for soup, how strong does it have to be? If you entertain large groups with larger pots of soup/chili, this may be for you; but for the average family, it would be way TOO big for the normal pot.

I enjoy grilling for friends and family and think I have the best burger recipe. The only thing I don't enjoy too much is making the burger patties after all the ingredients have been mixed. I actually came across an advertisemkent for the Weston Burger Maker by accident.......such a fortunate thing for me. The Burger Maker makes perfect patties in less than half the time I used to spend. It can also be adjusted to make the patties thick or thin......I really like this feature. It is also so easy to clean. Perfect patties in no time......Perfect !!!!!! . I highly recommed the Weston Nonstick Burger Express Patty Maker

No bells and whistle to drive up price while adding minimal practical utility; just a solid and easy to use machine to make homemade spaghetti and linguine, or pasta sheets to be used for lasagna or ravioli. It is quick and easy to make pasta with this machine, there are numerous recipes on the internet for variations like spinach, sun-dried tomato, and whole wheat, and you will know eactly what is in the product you are feeding your family. This machine is solid and heavy - all metal and no plastic or composite - and must be attached to a strong work surface.

I really like this hamburger presser. I've used it to make burger patties for a family get together (17 burgers for that occasion) and for making sausage patties for my husband's breakfast sandwiches. It works great for both. Be sure to use wax or parchment paper because it will stick. If you dip your ball of meat into water before pressing it then it won't stick to the paper either. I wish I had gotten it years ago. There are only 2 things I regret. I thought it was dishwasher safe. I looked at so many before deciding on this one that it is probably an oversight on my part and not a misrepresentation of the product. This is the only reason I didn't rate it at 5 stars. The other thing is that I wish I had gotten the one that made 2 at a time.

I can't say our first few attempts were very successful. The dough has to be covered in flour (not 'dusted' as suggested) before it will roll through without sticking to the metal. We've only been able to run dough through once (as opposed to 'several times' as recommended). The micro settings used for thin pasta didn't cut correctly - but we managed to thin the dough enough to make it work better. All in all, it's a decent pasta maker - and the best we found on the market. We were able to compensate for the brief instruction booklet by modifying our recipes, adding extra flour, etc. The only drawback we've not come up with a workaround for is the cleaning - you can only use a brush to dust out the dough - no water is to be used in the cleaning of the machine (it will remove the light coat of oil in the gears). Aside from all that, we still enjoy making our pasta together as a family, and will continue to use this pasta maker to do so.

Months after purchasing this pasta machine, I finally got it out of the box to make some homemade pasta and I am delighted with the result. For the price, the machine is a very pleasant surprise--sturdy, heavy and easy to use. All parts were in working order, but I did have to hold the knob to change that changes the thickness to keep it from slipping back tto the thickest setting. Mind you, it might have been that my dough was not properly kneaded. I made some fine linguine and some thicker fettucine using a hybrid recipe for basic pasta (Mario Batali + Jamie Oliver) and I am very happy with it, especially for a first attempt (both making pasta and using the machine). I've read the other reviews. Since this is written after only one use, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I won't have to revise it, but tonight, my family and I are really pleased. (By the way, my 6-year old had a blast cranking out the linguine with the cutting rollers!) This could turn out to be a real asset on snowy, winter weekend afternoons.

And you can encourage kids to eat a variety of foods; when children take part in making meals, they are much more likely to eat them. Having cooking tools that they can use will make this time together in the kitchen safe and fun.
Stinking Rose -- perhaps this is not the most popular title for a poem; nonetheless, garlic has plenty of qualities to praise. This bulb was used by the ancient Egyptians as far back as 2080 B.C. for both culinary and medicinal purposes. It's still important in herbal medicine. Of course, garlic still makes good food even better, and every great cook has a garlic press among their kitchen tools. April 19 is National Garlic Day in the United States, but you can celebrate garlic anytime with some tasty recipes and fun facts.
