These bowls are comparable to a lot of other ones you get in the stores. They aren't super thick but they seem to be at the standard thickness. I really love the lids that come with them because that allows me to stack the bowls nicely. Just remember, the lids aren't airtight so if they flip over for any reason, most likely the food will come out.
