Excellent
So the other reviews were unintelligible. First Espresso is a dark wood color. Second basically almost all TV console boxes and boxes like TV consoles are packed with Styrofoam that gets all over the place. Third the instructions for this console were clear and straight forward. The quality for this piece is superb and there is a ton of storage besides just spots for your components.

Nightmare to assemble, but good end result
This piece is horrible to put together. The directions are not very helpful at all. Definitely not a one-person job. I did know this when I bought it based on the other reviews, but thought I would put up with the inconvenience of assembling the piece based on the price. The end result is pretty nice. It is solid wood which I like. The only thing I could not figure out was how to put all the side shelves on, so I left all but the top ones off. This works fine for me. I would recommend this to someone with a lot of patience who could not otherwise afford a solid wood corner tv stand to accommodate a large tv. We have a 47 inch tv on this piece and it looks awesome.

Dissapointed
This TV stand was a nightmare to try to put together. The directions were terrible and beyond that, the holes did not line up together on many of the pieces. Upon taking apart what actually was put together, the wood started splitting. I would not recommend this product to anyone...

Pretty. Good for the Price.
This media stand is truly very pretty. For anyone who has put furniture together before, it is easy to assemble. I did it alone in about an hour. Like many others who reviewed this product, I did use glue to reinforce the connections. The quality of the materials is not the best, but good enough for the price. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with the purchase.

This piece of furniture was exactly what I wanted and expected. The previous reviews were helpful. This media stand would work in a bedroom or livig room. There were lots of parts and my son (the assembler) fussed a lot, but it all went together.

Disappointed
I was very excited to find this TV stand. I was looking for something that was simple and would seamlessly blend in with existing furniture. While putting it together it was very evident that this was very cheaply made -- as the screws were tightened the material began to split; it was not strong enough to even hold up its own weight. I called and sent it back the same night I received it. Very disappointed.

A bit tricky to assemble, you def need 2 people to help with assembly

Great looking, sturdy unit
The instructions were easy to follow and it came together in about 2 hours. That may seem like a long time, but I used wood glue on every wooden dowel, and had a couple beer breaks. The color was better than expected, and has darker edges that adds a little class. I did have some help holding a couple items in place, so I would recommend somebody being available to assist you. Very sturdy once completed, a great price, and got it in two days. Wife loves it.
