Not recommended
Ordered this product after calling Overstock to ask if the cooking surface was coated (I was told it was not). I did use this product and the detachable cord is held on magnetically and does not hold very well, also the cord is very short and can only be used very close to an outlet and must be turned in a direction so that I cannot read the temperature gauge. The unit cannot be submerged so cleaning is not easy. The temperature control is very erratic so that when turning the temperature down the unit shuts off and then when increasing the temperature the contents of the pot boil rapidly.
