Was looking for a fixture that was not as fancy as a chandelier but not as simple as your every day light fixture. This fixture added that final special touch to our nursery and for a very reasonable cost compared to other similar fixtures! Many compliments on it so far, very happy with my purchase!Read More
We loved the look of this light fixture, but after hanging, discovered one of the three arms is not level and therefore, the whole fixture was noticeably off. Sorry to have to return. Maybe better luck next time. Love overstock for that ability.Read More
Sleek drum style chandelier great in Foyer with satin nickel surround shines clean bright white light.Read More
The seams of the inner fabric shade and outer metal frame do not match up. The metal has marks (dents) in the metal from manufacturing. The shade seam came apart. It arrived with one of the light sockets disconnected and once we got it connected it is very loose. The screws that came with the item to mount it to the ceiling were too short so we needed to go to the hardware store to find screws that would be long enough. The diffuser is made from plastic which is a disappointment. The diffuser also had a sticky film on it to keep it from being scratched but it was really difficult to remove. After all that being said the light looks great up.Read More
Beautiful chandelier. The color and design is great. When lit up the light reflects thru the design leaving a cutout etching of light reflection on your walls and ceiling.Read More
I hung this light in my kitchen and it compliments the stainless appliances and faucet. I love the design and eventhough you can put 3-100 watt blubs in it I have 3-60 watt with a dimmer switch and it is very bright. Would definatley recommend.Read More
I was quite pleased to find this light on Overstock. I needed a ceiling fixture that would put out a fair amount of light and many of them will only take 2-3 60 watt bulbs. Too dark for the kitchen. I'm certainly no mechanic or electrician, but it was pretty easy to install, although the shade was not dead centered on the bulbs. I was able to put some pressure on it without denting the metal screening and get it pretty well centered. I had no troubles at all with the diffuser, as someone else had mentioned. The paper tore some but was easy to get off as was the clear plastic on the other side. No sticking, no residue, no problems. I put in the 3 x 100 watt bulbs and it's a bit too bright, but I love having the ability to increase and decrease the output to the extent I can. It looks great. Very pleased.Read More

Best Vitamins for Women
Even if you maintain a healthy diet and weight and exercise regularly, you still might not feel as though you are getting the nutrients you need to enjoy and keep up with your lifestyle. Women have specific needs when it comes to vitamins, and those needs can change and increase during adolescence, pregnancy and menopause. Let us help you choose the best vitamins and supplements for your lifestyle. B vitamins. B vitamins are water-soluble, which means they are flushed out daily, so they need to be replenished frequently. B vitamins are abundant in a variety of foods, including meat, potatoes and bananas, but many women, particularly vegetarians, may not find themselves consuming a variety of B vitamin-rich foods. Water-soluble vitamins are also compromised when foods are over-processed or stale. B vitamins affect your immune system, metabolism and cell growth, and they have a big impact on your energy levels. Pregnant women should consume extra B vitamins, particularly vitamin B9, which is also known as folic acid. Find your B vitamins together in a B-complex supplement or in a quality multivitamin. Vitamin C. Vitamin C is also water-soluble, so it is important to get plenty each day. Vitamin C is famous for promoting a healthy immune system. In addition, vitamin C is necessary for absorbing iron into the blood. Because women are more likely to develop iron-deficiency anemia, vitamin C is especially important. Vitamin C supplements are available in a range of formulations, and you can also get plenty from food sources. In addition to oranges, vitamin C is abundant in oysters, broccoli and a wide variety of fruits. Vitamin D. Vitamin D contributes to the overall health of your body's organs, but its main job is to make sure that the calcium you work so hard to consume gets absorbed properly. Women are more likely to develop bone density complications, so calcium and vitamin D are extremely important for women of all ages. You can get your vitamin D easily from the sun, but if your lifestyle doesn't allow for much sun exposure, you may want to consider adding a vitamin D supplement to your routine. Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin, which means it is stored in the body's fat and organs. There is some potential for toxicity when fat-soluble vitamins are over-supplemented. A daily intake of 200 to 400 IU per day is recommended for children and adults, and most vitamin D supplements will provide 400 IU per dose. More than 400 IU per day is not recommended. Popular Types of Quilts
Out of all the bedding made, quilts may be the most diverse. Quilts are produced in all kinds of colors, patterns, sizes, styles and types. If you're looking for a quilt but don't know where to start, take a look at the popular types of quilts below to learn more about this beautiful kind of bedding. Amish quilts: These beautiful quilts reflect the Amish way of living and feature solid colors, deep hues, geometric patterns and very little embellishment. Amish quilts contain the highest quality of construction and stitching, and, sometimes, the wonderful stitch patterns (scrolls, feathers) contrast with the simple backgrounds of their quilts. Applique quilts: These quilts use a French needlework technique where fabric pieces are sewn onto another piece of material to create a design. Applique is used extensively in the quilting process and is not to be confused with patchwork. Patchwork pieces are joined together; applique is sewn on top of the whole piece. Baltimore album quilts: Baltimore album quilts came from Maryland in the early 1800s. Each block in the design of these quilts is appliqued differently, often in ornate floral patterns. Bangladeshi quilts: These quilts are made with layers of Saree cloth. Saree cloth is silk cloth used by women of India to wrap and fold around the body as a garment. The cloth is usually 40 to 60 inches wide by 6 yards long. These quilts are used as bedding or as decorative pieces. Bargello quilts: Bargello quilts are created with offset squares in an up-and-down geometric "V" pattern. The small squares of different fabrics and the colorful designs make these quilts true works of art. Hawaiian quilts: Hawaiian quilts are not pieced, and they usually showcase a large, symmetrical applique in the center of the quilt. Most often the background is white or another solid color. Patchwork quilts: Patchwork quilts are constructed of many small pieces of fabric which are put together in an improvised or irregular pattern. This is a well-known quilt style, and examples of historical patchwork quilts are found in many museums. Ralli quilts: Ralli quilts, sometimes known as rilli quilts, are traditional quilts made in India or Pakistan. There is an abundance of embroidery as well as applique on the patchwork patterns. Star quilts: Star quilts are created with a large star shape, or several star shapes, dominating the pattern. Wedding ring quilts: Wedding ring quilts are crafted in a design of interlocking rings. This pattern goes far back in history: in the fourth century it was used to decorate drinking cups in Rome. Wedding ring quilts are highly popular and make wonderful wedding gifts. If you're looking for a gift to please an engaged couple, you can't go wrong with a wedding quilt. Bedding always makes a significant gift for the bride and groom, and a quilt with coordinating Egyptian cotton sheets can be even better. View All Quilts Back to Guides Directory View All Quilts
