What does a low profile foot board mean?
This bed is beautiful -- extremely well made, looks much more expensive than what I paid for it. Worth the wait and hassle in the end, I suppose. The freight company that overstock.com used for this delivery was AWFUL. I stayed home not 1, not 2, not 3 but FOUR times for this delivery, only to have them call with awful excuses 3 of the four times (one was weather) and cancel. I finally took shipment on a Saturday. Overstock was great about it when I finally called them and informed them of the problems, but said they would get back to me with remuneration for my time and trouble after the bed was delivered and we knew it was in good shape, and that never happened! Usually my experience with o.co is stellar. This one transaction was a total nightmare. But the bed is awesome. I still order from o.co and love the site and usually the service too....

This bed is exactly what I was looking for. It came exactly as described! It was really easy to put together. Needed a boxspring with the mattress for extra support which makes the bed kind of high but I like it. It makes the bed look really classy. Beautiful wood! This was a great purchase and I would recommend it!Read More
We are really happy with this full size sleigh bed. We purchased this bed to put in our daughter's bedroom and it fits in really well. It looks really nice with the hardwood floor we have. It took me just little more than an hour from unpacking the boxes (2 boxes) to be full completed bed with a little help from my husband (he held the side rail when I screwed it in). The bed is very sturdy and very good looking. Caution: the bed is a little bit higher than I thought but it is just perfect for us because it made a little harder for our dog to get on.Read More
Another great purchase from Overstock! This bed arrived quickly and was easy to assemble. The bed is sturdy and rich looking.Read More
This was the first time I ordered from Overstock and so I was a bit nervous about how the bed would look and assemble. But now every time I look at it, I am so happy with the style and the color. The wood is beautifully finished in a reddish mahogany and it matches the dresser I had just refinished perfectly. I was surprised, however, to find that the mattress sits much higher than on most beds (I probably should have paid more attention to the dimensions) and so it has a different rather stately look, but one that I like. Also the slats were a bit thin so I bought two other 2 x 4s and installed them to ensure stability.Read More
bed arrived intact, minor finishing flaws but overall looks good.Bed slats seemed not to be as high quality as previous bed purchase. One slat in particular had large knot and broke when placing foundation inside frame (full size). Nice looking and meets my needs but wish i would have been more careful at inspecting manufacture flaws.Read More
