I am very happy with this rug; however, the color is misleading. Due to the fact the length of the threads are long - it mats down when walked on and the color of the rug when it is matted becomes a light grey (with some sheen to it). I would consider it more a light grey than charcoal due to this fact. The texture adds character to the room - this is why it still works for me. You need to vacuum the rug with a vacuum that lifts very high because of the long threads, otherwise the vacuum eats the threads and you won't get anywhere.
The round rug appears to be of good quality - and a great deal. It has a strong fabric lining underneath that keeps the rug in shape. The polyester wool blend seems to work nicely: the rug does not shed at all. When opened it had a sheepish wool smell that is mostly gone now - after a week. The one aspect that made me remove the 5th star is that the blend includes white fibers or threads (most likely the polyester) which give the rug the shiny accents but when being close look a little artificial.
- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? The actual color is clearly on the beige side while the website image may be perceived as rather off-white (though it does say beige).
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. appears to be a good quality
- How accurate was the on site description of the product? Quite accurate. It would have been nice to know about the exact blend of polyester and wool
