The first time I received the entertainment center, the screws and such came out of the bag and scratched nearly every piece of wood, as well as a few of the screws were missing. The "decorative stands" were completely shattered and made me weary if they can even hold up a 100lb entertainment center. I had an excellent experience with the Overstock customer service department who immediately sent out a new one and filed a claim with UPS. Granted, the second one also wasn't in the best condition, but with two sets, I was able to mix and match. I think whoever is packaging these needs a lesson in how to package a 100lb entertainment center. I also believe the wood is particle board, which the site didn't specify, but it does looks nice.

The holes for attaching the top and bottom of this entertainment center were incorrectly aligned. We followed the instructions extremely carefully. We managed to put it together in a different manner, but am not pleased. Color is also darker than expected. One of the black doors was scratched, but they were particularly ugly so we decided to not install them.You get what you pay for, I guess. Lots of room for storage, though.

We purchased this unit for our son who is away at college. It was delivered earlier than expected and was very easy to put together. The 32 in tv fit well on the pedestal and all of his dvds and components were easily arranged and hooked up!

I would like to express my excellent experience with Overstock's service - two parts were broken but the company reacted fast and sent them immediately. Customer Service were polite and understanding. The Entertainment unit is beautiful, fits my place exactly and we all like it very much. It matches the other furniture in the room. I would recommend Overstock to anyone. They do their best to be the best!
