I needed a fan for a small guest room. This one seemed like an ideal match: clean style and smaller size blades. Once mounted, this fixture seems like a complete disaster. Honestly, you're better off getting something more styling at your local ***t. It seems ok out of the box, although we weren't sure, we mounted it anyway. As a fan it works fine, but the lighting kit is nothing short of a disaster. It can only hold a single 40W bulb. That's equivalent of a night light illumination, even in a smaller size room. Useless. The worst part is that while bulb glass cover it's held together by a wire holders and leaves a gap, so you can actually see the wires inside the fixture. Very unappealing. The fan is already mounted, so we won't be returning it because of the hassle, but it was money wasted.Read More
The fan blades were much shorter than I expected, but that was my oversight for not anticipating it. The light housing has a clip on design that is tight and secure, but also allows for a gap between the glass and the fan. This design detail looks cheap and is a drawback for me. Had I not already assembled and installed the fans, I would have preferred to send them back and order something a bit more costly and a bit less cheap looking.Read More
Ceiling fan is nice. Light fixture was broken when I received it.Read More
We purchased 2 of these fans to put in our bedrooms. We wanted 54 inch blades and the description does mention 54 inch wire. We assumed that that was the fan blade size b/c who ever mentions any kind of wire, apparently they do.The blades on the fan a VERY small. The entire fan looked cheap. Both fans never made it up b/c they went right back to overstock.com. Be careful when you buy this fan!!!Read More

How to Choose a CPU Fan
Whenever your computer needs to perform calculations it relies on the central processing unit (CPU), often referred to simply as the processor. When the CPU is in operation it generates heat, so it must rely on computer components such as a CPU fan and heat sink combination to adequately dissipate the heat. Without a CPU fan the processor will quickly overheat and become useless. If your computer's CPU has been running too hot, choose a new CPU fan that provides better airflow.
How to Clean a Computer Fan
Heat is your computer's number one enemy, which is why it has one or more fans to help push hot air out of the computer case and pull cool air in. Computer cooling fans are typically installed next to vents on your computer case, but your computer's processor may have its own fans and heatsinks, which sit on top of the processor chip. Dust and dirt then collect around the blades of each computer fan and may eventually cause the CPU fan to break or slow down. If any one of the computer fans breaks or slows down, heat builds up and may damage the processor or other components in the process. To protect your computer, follow these simple steps for keeping your cooling fans clean.
