      I bought this a while back and I didn't realize it was queen size. I put it together with ease and its exactly what I expected. The quality of the product isn't to bad. It's fair at best. The only knock about this product is if I wasn't used to putting together furniture the directions would be very confusing.

      We really like the bed and all though it was a little hard to get together with the directions. We love it and it works well for what what it is needed for. I would buy another if the time and need comes aound.

    • Platform bed

      I bought this to hold the memory foam mattress that I also got from Overstock. The bed came via UPS in a big cardboard box. It weighed quite a lot, so take note of that if considering purchasing this item. If you need to bring this up stairs, it will likely be impossible to do it alone without removing everything from the box and carrying it piece by piece. It was well packed and there was no damage to the bed.After unpacking I laid out all the parts and checked out the instructions. They were quite simple. The pieces are marked so you know what goes where. I put this together using a power screwdriver and I think I needed to drill a couple of holes. It really was simple, very straightforward. With the mattress on top, I find it to be a perfect height. I think the only problem I have with it is my lack of fashion sense. Being a platform bed, it doesn't work well with a comforter that hangs over the sides since it will cover the bed and you can't see it. Remember that as well, trying to decide on the correct size comforter or bed spread so as not to hide the platform bed. I believe you can attach a headboard to it as well.

      Very nice, good appearance and pretty easy to put together. Seems to hold up (so far) to the demands of a 16 year old. We priced it out to build one and wasn't much cheaper than this so I'd say the value for your money is great!
