This dresser looks great in the picture, but is very very cheap looking when you put it toegther. A lot smaller then it looks in the picture as well. Something I would have gotten for a first apartment. The price was to good to be true. I have had great success in the past however with overstock. But this time I was very disappointed.

It took me almost 2 hours by myself to asamble, but using this dresser is so easy for my family. Love it...

This looks good. But it took 3 hours to put the thing together. Could be frustrating to some people.

It takes a few hours to assemble but I was able to do it alone. The drawers are spacious enough. No real complaints.

The product was easy to put together with sturdy, quality materials. The drawers were reinforced for heavy storage. The drawers are also easy to open and close/ I am very pleased with the product.

The product holes were out of line, but with a nice set of tools we got the dresser put together nicely. Just follow the directions and don't be in a hurry to finish.

I received a pile of cheap, thin wood and a bunch of plastic reinforcements. It was extremely difficult to assemble and took me three days as I had to give my arms rest. I considered calling to have it returned but had already started the project. It's complete now. It looks good but how well it will hold my clothes after one month is to be determined. I would strongly suggest you do not buy this product or any DIY furniture from Overstock. I had simultaneously ordered a hamper which was even cheaper and had no instructions. Horrible!

This is a great dresser for the price! I put this together by myself and it took a long time because there were so many pieces, but if you elist a friend to help, you should be done in no time. The quality is good and this piece matches the Axium Espresso furniture we have in the room - they don't make the Axium 4 or 5 drawer dresser anymore, and I was afraid this dresser wouldn't match - but it matches very well. The pulls are also very similar and look like they are from the same set. I would definitely recommend this - and what a great price!

I was not happy with the quality of this product. When I opened the boxes and saw all of the plastic parts, I was very disappointed. I would not recommend to anyone unless you are a college student that needs something that will just be thrown away in a few years, if it even lasts that long.

this product was hard to fix. this product should have a solid wood back.

This chest put me through hell! The holes weren't lined up, so i had to use power tools just to screw the nails in. (the description said don't) It took me forever, and you literally have to put every single piece together. It took my friend and I HOURS to put this together. It also has a few nicks in it, but they give you a "touch-up pen" AKA a black marker to fix it with. Overall, it looks great when done.

Holes for placement of top portion were not placed properly, there were actually two sets of holes on the middle section, only should have been 1 set (two holes), this caused me to have to redrill the holes. I am not a happy camper.

took 3 plus hours to install. and the particle board splits. drawers are so flimsy . would not buy

I bought this based on some of the reviews. It was also within my price range, and what I was looking for, aesthetically. However, assembly: FREAKIN HARD. I consider myself quite the handy-woman, especially if I have directions. Putting something together has always been easy for me, but this presented a challenge. The directions, in my opinion, were terrible. I would not recommend this product based on that. Once assembled (took me 3 days), it's a decent product. If you know of someone who could put something like this together in a snap, go for it, but if not, leave this on the shelf.

I purchased the black dresser for my son who is in college in another state....so I have not seen this item in person. He and a friend put this together in a couple of hours. He said it looks nice and works to hold his t-shirts etc. I'm guessing you "get what you pay for." But like I said it haven't seen it in person. He is happy with it and it does what it was intended to do...hold clothes!

Very time-consuming to assemble. Made of 262 separate parts! It took two of us 5 hours to assemble and we are both experienced in furniture assembly. That's 10 hours! Plastic drawer glides do not open and close smoothly. Would probable not recommend it.

This is a very attractive 5 drawer chest - good price, sturdy and not too difficult to assemble. All parts were included, and no problems with construction. Be sure to check your space and allow a bit of extra, as this chest is larger than advertised. It is very heavy so I was grateful to have it delived to my doorstep.

I was a problem, as I had a specific location with limited space and the extra width eliminated that option.

As the 1st reviewer posted - this is a small scale furniture piece. Not sure why s/he was surprised - the measurements of the piece are clearly listed in the description. Don't under rate a product because you didn't read the details. My home was built in 1945. A king size bed will not fit in any of the bedrooms. They're small. Fact of life for this house. I was thrilled to find this piece (as well as the matching nightstands, headboard and armoire) They are sleek and modern looking. Nothing fussy about them. They are somewhat heavy once put together (my poor UPS man...at least I was home when he delivered and I insisted on helping him carry the boxes in - whew! be warned, it's heavy!). My husband and I had all 5 pieces put together the same day. Easy enough to assemble - helpful to have 2 people, but manageable with just 1. I've had the pieces for 5 years now and they still look new - that's saying a lot because my husband is very hard on things. The only issue I had was one screw breaking off when I was putting on the last drawer pull. It broke off in the handle. I should have called the company for a replacement part, instead I just bought 2 very similar ones from the big box store and replaced the ones on the nightstands with those and replace the one with the screw stuck in it with one from a nightstand. This is INEXPENSIVE furniture - it's not meant to last a lifetime, although it's holding up perfectly well in my house.
