Can anyone tell me if this glass top could support a 40 flat screen tv. All the tv consoles are too high so I would like to use a coffee table which is lower to the floor. I love the glass look but wonder if it is strong enough. Thanks.

I think that this is a very nice contemporary piece and looks great with any decor. I would recommend this to anyone. It's very durable and the tempered glass is really nice. Also it's a very great size.

This table is awesome! I was initially worried about the wood base, as the style of my apartment is more black leather and silver metal furniture, but it fits in well. The glass top is the perfect size to house some small decor while still leaving enough space to work on my laptop/eat/etc. It is also sturdy enough to rest your legs on either the glass top or wood base. Assembly was tough initially as I am a small female and the pieces are heavy, but it all came together within 30-40 minutes. Surfaces clean easily. Overstock shipped the order faster than expected. I definitely recommend!

I had issues with local stores and ordering finally I decided to get one online. I found this one and must say it is nice. It was a good price and I received it rather quickly, and undamaged. It was easy to assemble and looks great

I was reluctant to purchase this coffee table, not really trusting how the "silvering" of the cross legs would show up close. I was happy to report that the silver paint was well-applied and works surprising well with the contrasting espresso finish. The tempered glass is thick, and the chrome circle "buffers" where the top rests over the legs make the entire piece look very upscale. The efficient design maximizes space without sacrificing surface area--the lower shelf can be used to display collectibles, books or magazines, without visual obstruction from above, and still have the entire glass top for cocktails, coffee or flowers. Assembly was easy, all holes were aligned, all finishes were free of chips, dings and scratches. The glass top was very well packaged inside the shipping box. Overall a great value and an elegant look. Thanks Overstock!

Looks great, contemporary, fairly easy to assemble but one hole for screwing in the glass top didn't line up correctly, had to get a friend with a drill to assist.

I am very pleased with the coffee table. My concern was with the hardware package being opened and hardware loose in the box, and I did have to force two of the screws into the pre-drilled holes.

The coffee table is beautiful, however the written instructions are difficult to follow, so it took me a while to put it together--and I'm usually very good at assembling furniture pieces.

Quite pleased with my first Overstock purchase. Fairly easy to assemble,although could have used some more text in the Instructions.

After looking for a glass table for several weeks, I finally found this on Overstock at a relatively low price compared to what I had been seeing. However, I was looking for a black table base. I used the online chat feature to check what color the table was, and was able to find out it was a dark brown. I ordered it anyways, thinking it would be dark enough to be mistaken for black, and it was. The only complaint I had was that the silver paint on the sides looked kind of tacky. I think it was just because the paint job for the silver sides wasn't that great. You would think that painting within the lines would be a priority, but too often, the dark brown and silver colors would alternate along the edges. Not a huge problem though. I ended up buying high gloss paint at the local hardware store, and repainting the entire wood base. Now it looks great. Great value.

This looks very nice as long as you don't look too closely. There is a big scratch on the bottom shelf that they tried to hide but I just put magazines on it so you can't see it. The quality isn't great but on the other hand, I didn't pay a lot so I am happy with it.

I had been shopping for a new coffee table for some time and did not want to pay $500 for one. This is a good value for the money. It appears to me to be a press board type material with a faux wood type finish for the base, but the legs appear to be solid wood. The sides of the legs are painted silver. It was extremely easy to assemble. It was delivered within a week. I am sure that it's not the most expensive piece of furniture, but again it's a good value for the money and I do like the look.

This coffee table has a lot of styles! My order arrive around on week after I ordered it. Great service! I love this look. It is so unique is design and very spacious. Assembly didn't take me too long and it is lightweight which is a good thing. Color was very nice as well.

After searching for coffee tables on the web and finding everything unbelieveably expensive, this was a nice find. Simple to put together (did it by myself) and looks elegant. Great purchase that you won't regret.

This is a very unique and stylish coffee table. I love the intersecting legs design which brings a lot of elegance to my living room. It also complete with the glass top and assembly was quite easy. The table is great for host parties. I would definitely recommend this to anyone!

Easy to put together, took about 45 minutes. Looks good. People should beware that the color is more of a dark brown than black. Good value overall!!
