For some reason when I bought these pillows I thought they were brown with bright red. The burst pattern matches our decor, but the fabric is too casual in feel. It's kind of a rough linen, and the colors are black and very dark red. I think the value is good, since it is hard to find a decent size throw pillow for this price. Also, I liked that they were cusions + cover, so you could recover them later. Overall, they just didn't go with anything in our house, so I returned.
These accent pillows were an elegant touch in my guest bedroom. The workmanship is excellent and the red detail is very subtle. Really effective in the right setting.
These pillows are great, the only problem I had with them is that the filling is so flat. But I love them anyway and they go great with the bed set and I love the red that just pops out from the center.
