I thought for the retail price of $600 that this would be a much sturdier trellis, but it turned out to be very flimsy. I am disappointed in the product. I got this for my wife for Mother's Day and she was much more impressed with the picture than the real deal.

When I unpacked the arbor and gate, it was already going rusty. It was dented and bent in several locations. I had to prime and repaint in a hurry as I had a time issue. I would have sent it back otherwise. Looks good from a distance, but I would not recomend this to any one I know!

This is a sturdy, attractive arbor and gate. It is not the least flimsy, but it is made of hollow tubing. Thank goodness! If it were solid it would be be too heavy to mount. Overall, it is an excellent value.

The Constaine Wrought Iron Garden Arbor with Gate is a pretty way to enter our backyard. It is simple and elegant. We had to stake it into the ground so it wouldn't move, but other than that it is really beautiful.

I've had this arbor gate for approximately 1 1/2 year. It's beginning to flake paint and rust already. The "wrought iron" is hollow rather than solid so it needs to be anchored or cemented in the ground. The gates are flimsy, inexpensive looking and they don't quite line up with each other. The gate latch is inadequate as a strong wind can blow them open. I've resorted to tying a cord around them to keep them secure. The gate was not worth the over *** price.

We love the arbor - it was everything we hoped it would be. It is well built and extremely easy to assemble. The shipper damaged the box and the bolts were missing. They shipped the bolts to use and we had them a few dayslater. Also, the delivery was quicker than we thought it would be. I haghly recommend this product and shopping at Overstock.

The arbor arrived very quickly within the week I ordered it via UPS. We did not have to wait for an oversize shipment. I set it up by myself within 30 minutes or less. It is easy to construct. I love the way it looks in our yard. I was not impressed, however, with some of the welds. They may not last...time will tell. If you look at it closely you can find areas of questionable quality but without a critical eye, it is pretty. I've had several compliments from others who have seen it. I hope it lasts because I really like the way it looks. As others have said, it is not solid black wrought iron. The tubes are hollow and the piece is not too heavy and comes with stakes to hold down the feet to stablelize. There are 2 holes in each of the base feet to put the stakes through or screws if you attach it to a deck or something like that. I'd recommend this item, but it may only last a few years with our winters. Nice item for the money that adds a lot of character to a garden.

I purchased this item based on the original photo on your site and its description. Free shipping is always a 'plus', but I feel that the quality was not really what I expected. After a few days in the rain there were areas which had begun to rust. I had to prime the entire arbor with rustoleium and then spray paint it with a durable metal exterior enamel. So for the time, money and effort expended I do not believe this product was a very good buy. In addition the metal pegs used to anchor the arbor to the ground are not sturdy enough to really secure the arbor properly and the 'powder coating' is thin in spots which led to the quick rusting in those areas.

The arbor was a great asset to our landscaping and would highly recommend to our friends. It was of high quality and was a beautiful design.

This arbor was easy to assemble and once we were able to get it leveled, the gate stayed closed as it should. It looks very nice in my garden. It is of sturdy contruction and should last a long time.

After anchoring, moving location, etc., this arbor could not weather the Michigan weather. It is twisted and bent and the hinges came off. I think our woodsy winds were too much for this beautiful piece, but if I lived elsewhere no doubt, this arbor is STRIKING & impressive

This arbor is beautiful, looks just like the picture but we expected the wrought iron to be thicker than it was. Don't get me wrong we still like the way it looks and we like the product itself also. Ordering was a breeze, especially with the great assistance from the customer service rep.! Would like to have two more of these for our yard as we have two acres we are landscaping.
