Connor Dark Brown Microfiber Bench

First of all, there aren't many reasonably priced fabric covered benches of this size so I consider this Overstock piece to be a real find. My only complaint is the use of "finger jointed" wood for the horizontal pieces. Rather than use 1 piece solid wood, the manufacturer chosed to use less expensive finger jointed wood. On the lower cross brace each finger jointed piece is perhaps 8" long, and on the upper each piece is perhaps 18" long. The use of finger jointed wood probably saved $1-$2 pera bench but resulted in a poor, blotchy finish. The wood has a rustic texture and is stained a dark brown, but each finger jointed piece accept the stain differently so the overall appearence is "blotchy". You can see this in the photos if you look closely. Other comments: 1. Packaging was supurb -- very unlikely to get damaged in transit 2. Microfiber fabric is quite neutral in color and texture. 3. Cushion is firm 4. Bench is very sturdy 5. Assembly was straightforward. Instructions were essentially pictures only but adequate (just remember to install all pieces loosely, then tighten bolts after everything fitted together. Instructions don't mention this step. Also, no phone or contact information provided in case of difficulty)

• Please tell us about the quality of the product. Reasonable quality for the price, but disappointed in quality of lower wooden cross braces
• How accurate was the on site description of the product? Accuarate description except for "antiqued bronze knob hardware". I'm not sure where this description came from. There are no knobs or hardware on this bench
