I bought this as a gift for my parents and they absolutely love it. The box is very nice and I was told the unit is heavier and feels very high quality. I've not actually seen/used it myself, but I can tell you that my parents absolutely love it!
Box is lighter weight then it appears. Wine Opener works great. Overall it is a great purchase for the price. Would recommend.
I love my "rabbit" wine corkscrew so when I saw a wine corkscrew on the bridal gift registry I knew to check Overstock for one. I thought the wooden box would be classier then the metal box and I was very pleased with the quality of the item.
I purchased this wine opener set as a gift to replace a cheaper model that did not hold up well. So, my comments will be limited to only the initial use, not the durability. The set is beautifully packaged in a very nice wooden box. The opener is made of quality materials that seem like they would last a long time. All of the accessories also seemed well made. The opener itself is very easy to use and the instructions provided were clear and simple to follow. An impressive gift for any wine lover on your list.
