This is a beautiful light. The antique copper look at the mount is gorgeous and doesn't look cheap. The crystals took about 30 minutes to attach after my contractor installed the base fixture. The instructions are pretty bad, but the process is fairly intuitive. Once it's assembled the crystals cast a lovely halo on the ceiling. It's only one light, so I wouldn't use it to light up a room, but it's perfect for our staircase landing.

Installed this in our mudroom entry to provide sparkle. Looks especially nice with the very simple 16" paintable ceiling medallion we used to mask blemishes left by the larger fixture that used to be there. In our master bath, we have the "real deal" version of this fixture from a popular retailer, so I can offer a comparison. This one takes a 60-watt medium-base bulb vs. a 40-watt type B candelabra base; uses chains to connect the rings for each tier vs. a rigid frame; has less pristine crystals--most or all have scratches; has less-refined hooks for attaching crystals; and provides no clearly intended means to hang the large round crystal at the bottom (we improvised with picture wire, which worked fine). Although the quality of this fixture is not as high as the "real deal," we are pleased with it, especially since it cost about half as much. To simulate the more expensive one, before installing I refinished it using paint already on hand: spray-painted it silver, then wiped on/wiped off black acrylic art paint to distress it a bit. Turned out great, and only took about 30 minutes.
We bought this light for a small powder room and it's perfect. I was worried it wouldn't give off enough light because it's the only source of light in there but it worked out fine. Hanging the light and glass drops was not difficult. We had it up and working within 1 1/2 hours. It looks just like a light from another site but at a fraction of the cost. Very happy with our purchase!

This is the exact piece from a well-known company which discontinued this bronze color -- that is why I searched Overstock -- it was my first purchase with them. It is a unique and eye-catching piece, yet very clean and classic. Also gives good bright light -- mine is on a dimmer for varied effects. I could not be more pleased and my electrician was impressed.

After reading the reviews, I took a chance & ordered it. Here is what's true that other's are saying: The crystals do appear as if they are plastic when you first open the box, but they are glass. The instructions are horrible and will not help you install it. It is not as difficult to hang the crystals as others say. But, to make it easier, install the top 1-2 rows and bottom row of the crystals before you install it. It is not as sparkly as the photo appears, because the top 2 rows aren't within range of the bulb to reflect light. The light in the photo must have been illuminated with other lights or the pic was enhanced. Like lots of other folks, my light was missing a part: the chain that you hang the last round crystal from was missing. I contacted customer svc immediately and they said they would send a replacement part from overseas. It is 2+ weeks later, and I still don't have the missing part nor know the status. I just re-contacted them to find out. I am concerned that when I get the part, it will require the electrician to come back, costing me more for him than the light. If you are willing to deal with these types of issues, the light is a great value and looks just like the expensive versions sold elsewhere. I hung mine in a walk in closet.
Cute chandelier...a little difficult putting on the crystals, but not too bad. The color is not antique copper, it really should not be listed as such. The true color is really a dark bronze, just a little lighter than oil rubbed bronze, not a hint of copper to it whatsoever. The crystals are glass, but nice glass. We were missing some crystals, but I love the customer service here, they are sending me the missing parts immediately. The schematic to arrange the crystals is confusing, the photo on the website helped us figure it out. It arrives meticulously wrapped. I can't say that it looks like the more expensive version, but for half the price, I can make it work!
I was almost bought this from **** for more than double the price, and I am so glad I didn't. I wasn't 100% in love with the color, so I got "oil rubbed bronze" spray paint for metal and gave it 2 light coats. Perfection! Beautiful brown color, with just a touch of gold coming through for depth. Quality is great, install was easy (the wiring was already there from a previous fixture).
Looks like a million bucks!!! Easy to assemble, took me 45 minutes! It was very overwhelming to see all of it when I was unpacking it, but it went together easily. Not one broken bauble in the whole box! Cannot wait to get it hung up in my office. Would definitely buy it again if I had another place to hang it. It's a 10++++
I have almost the same fixture from a higher end store in my entryway and wanted something for the top of the stairs but didn't want to spend as much as I had for the first fixture. This fits the bill. The quality isn't as good. Some of the glass pieces has some small scratches and the framework was much lighter weight but it's fine. I wouldn't put it in the entryway but at the top of the stairs it's perfect.
Can you tell me how much this weighs? Also can it be attached to drywall or does it need to go into a support beam due to how heavy it is?thomas11610 on Feb 23, 2014Please enter a valid question.Answer This Question
Thank you for your question thomas11610. The net weight of the Cone Shape Antique Copper Flushmount Ceiling Chandelier is 6.2 pounds and we think it can be attached to a drywall. Have a great day.overstockcustomercare1 on Feb 26, 2014
I finished installing all of the crystal but cannot for the life of me figure out how to hand the final and lowest round drop ball. The one hanging the lowest- I just don't see a hook for it.zandler24 on Feb 11, 2014Please enter a valid question.Answer This Question
Hi zandler24, I am sorry to hear about your frustration. I was able to find that the bottom ball hangs from the center of the chain that runs across the bottom of the unit. you will also be contacted by Customer Care. I hope this helps, thanks for shopping with us.overstockcustomercare1 on Feb 13, 2014
I had the same challenge and eventually abandoned that detail after no response from the manufacturers customer service. There is NO chain as noted below. Only on the larger version which I also own.shannonmary55 on Feb 19, 2014
Hi Shannon- I was contacted by overstock customer service because of this question post and they did acknowledge that there was a chain missing on my product and are in the process of sending me one. You may want to contact them again. Thank you for your response, I felt like I was going crazy so I'm glad I'm not the only one that ad the same problem!zandler24 on Feb 20, 2014
I don't see why not but it's not very bright. If you had more than one, a second light source or a large mirror to reflect the light it might work. On its own there wouldn't be enough illumination for me to do my makeup. Hope that helps.sandiegoelf on Jan 23, 2014

use the teardrop along the entire top row. Alternate between the teardrop and the ball drop on the remaining rows. Ball at the end. It takes a bit of time to assemble, but is gorgeous!!dmrobinson8 on Dec 28, 2013
When the lamp is hung, can the crystals be pushed aside to insert a bulb?paty111 on Dec 12, 2013Please enter a valid question.Answer This Question
Thank you for your question paty111. Yes, when the lamp is hung, the crystals can be pushed aside to insert a bulb. Have a great day.overstockcustomercare1 on Dec 14, 2013
I wouldn't attempt to push crystals aside. But given how we mounted the round crystal at the bottom (with picture wire spanning one of the hoops), we can simply undo the wire and stick a hand straight up the middle from the bottom to replace the bulb.gardensrock on Dec 21, 2013
Thank you for contacting us tinabeachy. The dimensions of the mounting plate are diameter 7.9 inches x height 0.6 inches, which we hope it can be helpful for you to know if it works. Please let us know if you have any further questions.overstockcustomercare1 on Jul 10, 2013
