The title says "matte silver" as the color, but the picture is more like a brushed nickle. It is really MATTE SILVER. It looks very cheap to us. But this is because we wanted brushed nickle. The crystals are very high quality. Every was up to the description except the color (when you compare it to the picture)
- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? Way off
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. Good
- How accurate was the on site description of the product? Description was good, but needs to change the picture to show it is really MATTE SILVER not brushed nickle
Don't be afraid of attaching the crystals. I have rheumatoid arthritis and I did it and it was not a big deal, as someone else said you get your own little system going and it is not bad at all. And the effort it worth it! For the price it is a glamorous statement. Is a bit larger than I thought but all in all I really like it!

After reading the reviews I decided to go with this light instead of the similar, more expensive version from Pottery Barn. After arrival and assembly, I think I have made a mistake. I guess you get what you pay for. The light came with rust spots all over and assembly was annoyingly tedious. Once assembled the light does look decent from a distance. I called customer services to see if they had paint to touch up the rust spots. They did not, but offered me a whopping $** refund to make up for it! Not sure what I will do at this point but just wanted to warn all others interested in purchasing this light.

This is a lovely chandelier and looks nice over my 60" kitchen table. The glass appears hand-blown and there were a handful of extra baubles included which was nice as I did drop and break one when I put it together. Assembly was easy. I was initially concerned that the light wouldn't be bright enough but ended up returning my original bulbs and getting lower wattage bulbs since it was actually too bright. The metal doesn't seems as high quality as I expected but no one seems to have noticed -- it just doesn't have the finish I expected though I am quite pleased with it.
As other reviews mention, the finish on the hardware doesn't look high quality, and the crystals take at least 3 hours to hang......however this fixture, looks gorgeous once it is fully assembled and , when lit up, the light it emits is just fabulous. Worth it, and a great price!
I actually contacted Overstocked.com to get a label to return the item after first seeing the matte silver finish. It was not until I had completed adorned the fixture with the crystals that I saw that it would blend nicely with the antique silver fixtures that I had purchased to go into the same room. What a pleasant surprise!
We love our chandelier! It looks beautiful and gives off a lot of light. It was tedious to assemble but it was worth it. We started at the bottom and made it to the top while it was suspended between two dining room chairs. Make sure it's not upside down when assembling lol
This is not a fun piece to put together. I also think the crystals look a little cheap but for the price I would say it's worth it. I used it in a pantry and it's perfect. I don't think I would have loved it in my dining room but for the price I would say it's worth purchasing, just be prepared to spend a few hours putting it together.
