This was shipped incredibly fast. It probably took about 2.5 hours total to put together...not too bad. It arrived with a defective piece which was immediately replaced. The armoire looks great and is a wonderful addition to our home. Very pleased with the product. I looked at several other stores and this has the same look/concept for a much lower price!

I order this piece for my office as a Storage Unit for Office Supplies. It's the perfect size, color & everything. I couln't be happier with it. Although the guys that put it together for me weren't real happy.

It arrived in a timely fashion, two heavy boxes, at first the instruction were a little intimidating but once I started putting it together it was not bad. the lock screws are a little frustrating and could be a better improved. Overall, I'm satisfied with my purchase and found it to be a good buy compared to the armoire's I looked at in the stores.

This is a very beautiful armoire. It serves my needs exactly as expected. I can get my work done and close it all and you'd never know it was the home of my computer. Very good quality as well. One item that could use some improvement, the cork board. The idea is a winner but it definitely needs to be thicker, you can't even stick a thumbtack into it, it's that thin. I plan on adding a thicker piece of cork and putting trim around it to match and the problem is solved. It's not really a "distressed" finish as the ad claims, if that's what you're really going for. I had my sweetie put it together and he sailed right through it.

When I ordered this it indicated "some" assembly. The entire cabinent was in a lot of pieces. A task and a half to put together. I had to hire a handyman. I am usually good at putting things together. For the price it is good value and overall appearence is nice.

A very good value for the money. I shopped several places and this was my best deal (used coupon) and it looks very good, too. It took at least three hours to assemble, but worth it in the end. It serves our purpose well. I appreciate the coupons.

The armoire was delivered in a tmelymanner. However, the top shelf was cracked and it faces out. It appears a screw may have splintered the wood. I am unsure if the product was returned and then resold or simply a manufacturing malfunction.

Overall, I am satisfied with this piece. I read the previous reviews about the difficulty of assembling the doors. I probably spent 1.5 hours trying to get them perfect (which I never did). There were a couple of cracks in the wood. Nothing that can't be covered up. We have it in our bedroom and it really is a beautiful piece and very heavy.

My husband did not get the directions for lower part of the armoire. However, he was able to put the desk together without any complications. The value is great! The appearance is impressive for the cost. The workmanship was outstanding, because both of us are picky about 'cheap' made items. A great pic on my part (smile)!

I found this armoire in a discount catalog for $200 more (plus whatever their shipping cost would have been) so I am very glad I checked Overstock before I ordered ! I used the online salesperson to help me place my order and that was extremely beneficial, since I had shipping questions and was able to have them answered immediately. The product arrived quickly, it took less than two hours to assemble it alone, and I am more than pleased with its appearance and function; I was afraid it might not look as nice in person as it does in the picture, but not to worry - it looks like a fine piece of furniture sitting in my dining room. I love being able to simply close the doors on all the mess that seems to surround a computer (papers, wires) !

I really love this armoire for the small space that I have allocated for my "home office" in the living room of tiny my apartment. It looks great and hides the mess easily by just closing the doors. However, it did take me about 3 hours to put together and it definitely wasn't easy. The instructions were good and not hard to follow, but there are lots of peices and I found it difficult to assemble alone.

Amoire looks just as you see it in the picture. It is very functional. Yes, it came in 2 heavy boxes and it was time consuming putting it together. The hardest part is lifting the top and attaching to the bottom. Unlike previous reviews, I was able to make the doors line up and nothing really wobbles, only because I'd read the reviews and was extra meticulous. The bottom corner of the amoire came damaged, looks like front corner had been dropped, so a bit crunched. I decided not to return it because by the time everything is opened and sorted through it would have been more work to pack up and return. Also, every single screw and bolt were loose in the box. Luckily they didn't scratch the furniture but it was very tedious finding and organizing. Overall, it is now put together, its functional and my daughter loves it.

I absolutely love my new computer armoire. I had shopped on-line for the same unit and found this the best deal on the internet. The $2 shipping saved me around $78. The shipment arrived in two boxes so that the weight was easier to handle. I am 60 and had no problems with assembly. It did take a friend to come over and help attach the top to the bottom. All pieces fit perfectly and no damage to any part or parts. Took me about two hours to assemble. And best of all, is the fact that I now have all my home office stuff inside the armoire (except the files) and it sits in my living room looking quiet spiffy. It is the best functional piece of furniture I own.

I also liked all of the features but experienced some of the same problems as another reviewer. The printer tray is not as user friendly as it could be and the back brace was also cracked. The brace still functions and since the crack is inside it isn't visible. One thing I liked is that the piece isn't very large and doesn't overwhelm my living room. It is definitely something that needs two people to be put together easily. The one door did not close flush but we unscrewed and readjusted the hardware so that was easy to fix. I also liked the fact that it was not as distressed as I expected. Pretty cool little armoire, could not have bought it in a store for that price but just wish it was a little better quality. I suspect it will grow on me with time.

The armiore was difficult to assemble for one person. The instructions had you assemble the base and then the top. You then had to lift the top onto the base which was very difficult for one person of my size (the top weighed almost as much as me!). It was difficult to get access to the hardware when tightening. The rollers on the pull out printer shelf were broken and the runners don't appear to have a "stop" on them so the whole thing just comes out. I haven't put my printer on it yet. I think I'll secure the shelf so it doesn't move at all first. There were no plugs for the screw holes for the top portion. A piece of a door was broken but I can glue it back on easily. The legs were uneven. There seems to be some sort of adjustment but it doesn't adjust enough to make it level. If I hadn't gotten it almost assembled and it hadn't been so heavy I would have packed it up and sent it back!!!!!!

The armoire has nifty features like doors and trays but the doors do not close properly and the printer tray does not slide out far enough for ease of using the copier.The good thing is that the hinges and some of the other hardware came preassembled. I could use some instructions on how to adjust the doors. Also, one piece that braces the back was cracked.
