It really is compact
The Olde World Globe Bar looks great in our living room. The problem is that it doesn't hold much under that globe. Standard bottles are typically too big and we haven't been able to find decanters small enough to fit the slots. Looks good--not very practical for storage.

Not what I expected
This bar isn't what I expected. When they say compact globe bar, they truly mean compact. I can only fit three bottles inside the globe, and it won't hold any of my cocktail glasses, only wine glasses and champagne flutes. The bar looks very classy, but it sits low. I wish it was about a foot taller. However, considering I have a relatively small town house, the bar's small dimensions are good; it fits perfectly in the corner of my dining area. I'm satisfied with it.
- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? The color on the site appears darker than the actual bar.
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. I expected better quality, considering this bar cost nearly $200

Nice decorative piece
I bought this as a gift for a family member's home office. He liked that the bar was not a tabletop model, but still thin enough to leave a small footprint.

Global Appeal
This globe bar is fairly priced for what you get. It is not made of high quaility (solid wood)materials. One should not expect an expensive finished looking product. Appears nicer in photo than real life. Easy to assemble. Good Corner piece for office or library.

I just received my Italian Globe and am extremely pleased. It does require some assembling, but is very worth the effort. A timeless piece. Thank you for your quality merchandise.
