I needed something to help me around the house: lightbulbs, picture hanging, etc. This is it! It's light enough for me to carry, yet strong enough to support me. Love it! I'm very happy with this purchase!

This is a very sturdy step stool. I chose it because of its weight rating and the handle. It's just high enough for me to reach safely for the most common things I do such as painting and decorating. The handle gives me additional security. The steps are wide and the catch at the back of the top step locks it in place. I'm very pleased with it.

Great step ladder. I feel safer using it in the home or at our church building. It is easy to carry and set-up. Storage is easy too. The inexpensive shipping charges and the fair price made me order it from Overstock.com.

This is a heavy step stool - I wanted something sturdy to have around my house to reach high shelves. I'm sure it will do it but I wonder if I will want to bother getting it out - it is pretty big and heavy to carry around. I will come back to update my review after I have used it a few times. I was going to return it but I'm sure it would cost a fortune. They wanted $7.95 just to return my 6 towels so this would probably be 1/2 the price of the item! Recommending to a friend would depend - how strong is the friend??

This step stool is very sturdy and stable, and I got it specifically because I am not a light weight and wanted a strong step stool. I have used it for a couple months, and am thinking about getting one for the office.

The 3 step ladder is built very well. Solid under you feet. The high rail is a great safety factor. As you stand on the ladder to get something off the shelf you have 3 points of contact. Two feet on the step and one on the rail. This gives you a safe feeling. It is a little heavy, but it feels good to work from heights.

I have a house with very tall ceilings and ledges around the top. My two-step ladder just wouldn't cut it. This ladder is the perfect height to meet my needs. It's very sturdy and attractive looking. The hand rail makes it easier for me to use the top step and still feel secure. The only negative - it's very heavy and takes up much more room than the two stepper I had. I had to drag it ou to the garage for storage.

With my old two step step-stool, I felt very insecure when I stood on the topmost step, narrow steps and nothing to hold onto for balance. With the commercial 3-step step-stool, I have a rail on the back to grab, and even though I stand only on the second step (not the third) I can touch the ceiling and reach the topmost cupboards, another feeling of security. The only downside is the weight. The step-stool is quite a bit heavier that the aluminum two-step stool. On the other hand, it is easier to set up and collapse.

I am a senior citizen who likes to be independent, and to that end I needed a step stool I could trust. This stepper is perfect in every way. It is light enough to haul around, folds flat enough to put in a closet, the handle on top makes it feel even more secure, and it does not "wobble" when being climbed on. I am very pleased with my ladder, think the price most approriate, and will definately recommend it to friends.

Ladder is very sturdy. And folds up compactly. I like the wide steps...as an elderly person it gives me a more secure feeling when climbing to reach items on high shelves..
