Worth the money!
All in all, you CANNOT beat this price for a King sized mattress. I was looking. And spring mattresses alone were going to cost me upwards of $600. So this one for $$$$$ AND memory foam, it was a no brainer! I got the mattress on Valentine's Day and unraveled it from the big box, clearly beat up on its transit from CA to SC. I didn't notice any aroma but I also had gotten a new bed frame about 2 days prior and THAT had the slight "new" odor. I slept on it the first night and thought, "well, this isn't bad but its not really what I expected." I can't say it was fully back to its original size so I didn't want to get too judgmental at that point. And you know what? It's a good thing! I THOUGHT I paid enough attention to place it memory foam side up but apparently not! Ack! So, after feeling embarrassed for my mistake that I was VERY aware I could make, I flipped over the mattress (quite a task when its 75lbs+) and Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh MUCH better. Definitely has the memory foam feel. It's firm like a memory foam mattress should be but that does NOT mean it's not soft. However, If you're used to fluffy and pillowy, you're never going to like the memory foam mattresses unless you give one a try. Now, I won't say that the mattress has been life changing but I have noticed that I don't wake up as often in the middle of the night anymore. Where it was 10+ times a night, it might be 3 times a night now. I actually believe that if I can find a compatible memory foam pillow to replace my current pillows with, things will be a lot better. Also, for reference of the body type of the sleeper on this bed, I'm 5'8" and about 130lbs. I typically like soft pillowy beds but, I have two 60lbs dogs who sleep in bed with me. One of them is suffering from a lot of joint issues as she ages so getting a pillowy bed wasn't an option for her because she would have struggled greatly getting up. She still chooses to lay on the blankets on the bed at the beginning of the night but by morning, she's on the mattress itself next to me. She doesn't seem to be struggling as much to get her footing either since the bed affords limited overall movement and doesn't sink terribly with each step. Overall, when you're paying $$$$$ for a king size bed...you can't beat that deal, not for something that's brand new.

It's good, not great.
I've had this mattess for about 2 weeks now. It arrived quickly and it's about what I expected. The smell was pretty strong the first two nights, then it disappeared. It's comfortable, but very firm. The memory foam layer is not particularly thick. If you are looking for that soft, deep sinking mattress that you see on commercials, this is not the mattress for you. However, it has been great for my back and its definitely comfortable. I may add an additional memory foam topper, to soften it up a bit more. But, the mattress is exactly what I expected after reading the other reviews. For the price, I am satisfied.

Good product
The mattress is what it's said to be. We left it the full 48 hrs and it came up to the size promised. My wife loves it! If I was getting brownie pts every time she said she loved it I'd be good for a few years. The smell was there but was gone within 24 hrs. Buy this :-)

We love our memory foam mattress!!!!!!
We absolutely LOVE our memory foam mattress ... needed a change from our old pillow-top spring mattress, but couldn't afford to shell out the $$$ for a higher-end memory foam mattress. This is exactly what we were looking for ... have had our mattress for 4 months and are sleeping great at night. Thank you, Overstock =)

we have four beds in the house. we sleep on this bed only. i bought a mattress pad for this new mattress, but took it off because it really does not need a pad. made sleep too warm.

So far so good...
I've only been sleeping on this bed for approx 1 week, so I can't speak to it's longevity, but so far it's making me wish I had gotten a memory foam mattress a long time ago! In general I've noticed less back pain during the day & I'm also able to lay flat on my back & feel supported, where I couldn't with a regular mattress. I bought a memory foam topper to make it even more cushy & I don't think I even needed to. The one negative that I've read of all memory foam mattresses that is also true with this one is that it's warm, so you may want to consider a thin topper to make it a little cooler, but well worth adjusting to less warm bedding for the comfort. I opened it in a spare room & let it air out over night, though it expanded to full size within a few hours. It's not terribly heavy though was impossible for me to move into the other room by myself due to how flimsy it is (I could stand my other mattress up on it's side & slide it). Overall I'm very happy, especially for the price & would recommend it!

GREAT VALUE!!! Wish I had bought sooner!
I LOVE this mattress. I wish I had made this purchase years ago. The very first night, I slept like a rock. I didn't even feel my husband move (and he tosses and turns all night) once. It's affordable and high quality. We took it out of the small box, unwrapped it, let it expand, and slept on it about 8-10 hours later. I think EVERYONE should have one of these. They are truly amazing.
