  • Great value!

    Infrared heaters are a great way to save money with supplemental heat. My furnace is fuel oil #2. Expensive. The infrared heaters are energy efficient and easy on your electric bill. With several of these in my house, I have cut my heating costs by a third or more. I have family members that have heat pumps and use them too to tame thier eletricity bills. The Comfort Glow reminds me of a Desktop CPU. I like the "Economy" setting and timer features.

  • Not as powerful as the manufacturer advertises

    After reading many reviews of this product here on Overstock and on Amazon, I was aware that it would not heat an 800 sq/ft room and did not expect it too. Because it doesn't do what the manufacturer states, I rate it as fair. I have LP gas for a main source of heat and warm up the living area of the house with that in the morning. But with LP prices at $4.99/gal in out area, I was looking for a cheaper way to heat the space and find that this heater is adequate after the room is warm. Our area has had some cold weather this winter, but this heater would not be sufficient for areas colder than here in Western North Carolina. The price of the heater and the cost of using it as opposed to gas heat have made the purchase satisfactory for my purposes. The features I appreciate are the remote control, power settings, temperature settings and timer.
