I hesitated this purchase because I initially thought it can't be that good with that price. I bought it based on all of the other reviews. We already have a Tempurpedic mattress and paid 3x as much for it. It arrived veyr quickly, was easy to set up, and it's worth every penny. My son is 6'3" and it is a perfect size for him. He loves it. Feels exactly like the most expensive memory foam mattresses.Read More
Bought these after purchasing our eurgo beds. Works great and much cheaper than those mattresses at the store.Read More
We did not want to wrestle another king mattress into our bedroom and wanted to try foam vs springs. These were a great option although the original shipment came as Twins, not Twin XL's and had to be reshipped. Twin XL's are a fantastic option vs a King, and we use a 3" topper and don't even notice a gap. At this price if we get 5-6 years out of them we'll be very happy.Read More
This is a very firm mattress and seems to be well made. My last two mattresses started out firm but broke down in less than a year. I don't think this will be a problem with this mattress. I finally got a good nights sleep!.Read More
The foam made the item much easier for shipping and receiving. There was not weird smell at all. We got 2 Twin and 1 Queen for vacation home and it's working out really well.Read More
My husband and I were looking at buying a Tempurpedic but were thrown off by the crazy price. We started looking into more reasonable options and we found this mattress. We read through all the reviews for all the bed sizes for this brand before making our purchase (and that is saying something because there are literally hundreds of reviews!). We had a good mattress, but I was waking up with lots of back and hip pain--I am only in my mid-30, so I figured it must be the bed. My husband is also a mover in bed and would drive me crazy by his constant movements at night. It would literally shake the whole bed. There had even been times that he would go sleep on the spare room bed so both of us could get some sleep. He also had a tendency to snore, not loud, but still irritating. I decided that the only way we could figure this out was to get a new bed that didn't shake the bed--or get twin beds, just like Ricky and Lucy--at this point I didn't care what people thought, I just wanted to get some sleep! When I heard about the split king, it sounded just like what we needed and the TV ads with the wine glass made it seem absolutely perfect. We were looking at the Tempurpedic Cloud in a split king. CRAZY PRICES, but we loved the bed. Like I asi, when we found this bed we figured to give this a try and we bought just a single XL twin (basically a split king is the exact same size as 2 XL twins. We got it in SOFT after reading the reviews that the bed was too hard. I am so glad we ordered soft! The soft is not really soft at all. Our plan was to try out the twin bed, see how it was and then buy the 2nd one if we liked it. If we didn't like it than we could give it to our daughter and start saving up for the Cloud. I was so excited for it to arrive. Made it to our house after 7 days. I slept on it on the floor the first night and HATED IT--I even woke up with a headache!!!! I woke up miserable and was so worried that we had made a huge mistake. Since many of the reviews said it took several nights to get used to, I decided to try it for a week. Finally on the 6th night I began to LOVE IT!!! After a week it was my husbands turn. I was reluctant to give him a try. I went back to our old bed and woke up very sore and achy. I realized then how bad our old bed was. My husband loved the mattress after just a few nights (he tossed and turned the first 2 nights). I noticed that he didn't snore as much when sleeping on the new mattress--not sure if it is related, but it is worth mentioning. The only thing I wish was different was the firmness of the mattress--it is too firm, especially compared to the Cloud. You definitely don't feel like you "sink into it", but I no longer wake up with aches and pains and I notice that I do not move around as much. So, today I purchased the 2nd Twin bed and 2 memory foam toppers to make it feel a little softer, more "cloud-like". Overall we are happy with our purchase. I would recommend it to a friend, but let them know it doesn't feel as good as a tempurpedic. But it is a good alternative for 5-6 years as we save up to get a Cloud in the future. It is a thousand times better than our other big-name pillow top mattress. I hope this is helpful to somebody.Read More
I bought this mattress for my mother not knowing what to expect. She moved from a traditional inner spring mattress to a hospital bed but the mattress that came with the hospital bed was causing her so much pain that she dreaded having to get in it at night. I've never even sat on a Memory Foam mattress until this one arrived at my doorstep. I have to say I was blown away with the quality, the support and the comfort. What was even more amazing that feeling like I was laying on a cloud was when we raised the head of the hospital bed and like magic the sore part of my moms back was instantly given more support. With the original mattress my mom felt like she was sitting on metal or "falling in a hole" where the bed bent at the waist area but when we put the Memory Foam Mattress on all of that went away. Now I find my mom taking naps, sleeping longer and inviting visitors to try it out. My husband and I can't wait to buy one of our own. Oh and I forgot to mention that my mom weighs over 250lbs and this mattress is definitely up to the challenge. We were worried about collapse in pressure points like she had on her old mattress but with the memory foam those are just bad memories. With this mattress it hugs her, every time, like its the 1st time laying in it and it supports her entire body exactly like it needs. Soft and firm all in one wonderful mattress. After doing research for apx. a year on the leading brands of foam mattresses. Going to show rooms and trying them out. comparing value and best buy. I was looking at getting an adjustable bed.( which needs the extra long mattress) Due to an arthritic and muscle problem, even the high quality double pillow top mattress, I had did not provide a restful nights sleep. I decided with some skepticism to order the Soft Select a Firmness Memory Foam Twin XL. The large tube arrived in excellent shape via UPS. Taking others reviewers advice we took it to the bedroom before opening it. I have had it apx. one month and absolutely love it. It is soft but rapidly reshapes when you change position. It has given me very restful sleep, I recommend it highly. An excellent buy at Overstock...Thanks so much...LSB IdahoRead More
I read all the reviews and then ordered two xl twins for spare room. I decided to try them out and have been sleeping on them ever since! (my husband isn,t too crazy about that). I do not toss and turn as much as I did in my sleep number bed. Not sure if it is cooler as I was still hot but I did sleep much better so that is the bottom line. Mi am going to order a queen size mattress as soon as I can afford it! I thinks it is just as good as the ones in the stores although to be honest, I never actually slept on one.Read More
We bought a pair of twins for guest room (regular size) that were so comfortable, that we upgraded to pair of twin XL to make a proper King bed. A family member bought the first pair from us because they liked them so much. And after all the accolades from guests, we bought a third pair of twins for our own king bed. There is no creaking (no springs) and with two twins serving as a king, I can't feel my husband's movement on his side of the bed.Read More

What firmness level is best for side and stomach sleepers?
Unless you are a man or a pretty good weight like 170 lbs? I think the firmest level would be difficult for side sleepers unless you purchased a topper. Stomach sleepers who don't want to averarch their back woould probably like the firmest mattress. The firmest is firmer than the firmest original memfoam company's Classic model.
How soft is the soft? I need something that will support, but not so hard it makes my hip and shoulder go to sleep and not so soft I sink into a hole that pulls me out of line. I have back and neck problems as well as RA.
Thank you danita726. This product give you good support, we traditionally have a core system(Base of the mattress), followed by a transitional layer(support layer), and then our Comfort layer. When we talk about comfort we are typically talking about the top of the mattress where the initial Feel of the product is, and the support comes from the middle of the bed. This mattress has a 2? Bottom Base, a 5? White foam base on top of that, 2? middle layer w/a 2? topper. The firmness of the top comfort layer (soft/medium/firm) is usually personal preference and can depend on a person?s body size and weight also. Based on the reviews for this product on your website, most people say the soft is still a little firmer than they anticipated. I would suggest you to read the reviews also. Please let us know if you have any further questions.
Are the three layers enclosed in a cover? Or are they three separate layers that I need to provide a cover for?
The three layers are encased in one cover. You can treat it as you would any other mattress.
What is the exact shipping weight of this item?
The shipping weight is 38 pounds.

How to Select a Memory Foam Mattress
If you wake up with sore shoulders or an aching back, your old mattress is probably to blame. When you upgrade to a memory foam mattress, you'll enjoy comfortable nights on the viscoelastic foam that was originally developed by NASA scientists. To make sure you get the best mattress for your needs, you'll want to consider these factors while you're online shopping for a memory foam mattress.
Best Pillow-top Mattresses for Back Pain
The key to a good night's sleep when you have chronic back pain is as simple as choosing a good pillow-top mattress. Choosing the best mattress involves knowledge of your personal needs and preferences. To get a comfortable night's sleep, start by choosing a pillow-top mattress made from the right materials for you. Next, choose your preferred thickness. Finally, have firm sleep support underneath the cushions of the pillow-top. Below, you'll learn the best pillow-top mattresses for back pain. Choose the materials: Pillow-top mattresses are made from a variety of materials, so choosing the one that is right for you can make all the difference in the world. People with muscle pain should consider down pillow-top mattresses, which provide a cocoon to sleep in. Those with back issues will generally prefer memory foam pillow-top mattresses, which conform to the body and offer consistent support to areas like the lower back. However, it is important to check the manufacturer's information regarding the recommended weight allowances for these types of pillow-tops. Consumers who are heavier than the recommendations may find that the pillow-top cushion compresses in uncomfortable ways, leaving the mattress lumpy. Determine the thickness: Pillow-top mattresses come in a variety of thicknesses, from just 2 inches to 8 or more inches deep. Like choosing the right materials for your pillow-top, choosing the right depth is vital to getting a good night's sleep. Thinner pillow-top mattresses will allow more of the support from the remainder of the mattress to come through and will not develop body indentations as pronounced as those in a deep pillow-top. Pillow-top mattresses that are too soft may fail to provide back support and cause an increase in back pain. However, deep pillow-top mattresses are excellent for customers who suffer from fibromyalgia or other chronic pain. Check the warranty: Just as you would with any other purchases of its size, check the warranty of your pillow-top mattress. Most manufacturers will provide limited, pro-rated replacement warranties for manufacturer's defects, and some will provide a "comfort guarantee." Others may have specific conditions that must be met in order to maintain the warranty, such as having a boxed spring by the same manufacturer. Take note of any special conditions for the warranty and keep the paperwork. View All Mattresses Back to Guides Directory View All Mattresses
Facts about Memory Foam Infused with Latex
While there are many mattress toppers that claim to provide comfort, latex memory foam provides a firm, durable, breathable material that relieves pain and draws you into deep, restful sleep. Check out the facts: There are five reasons memory foam with latex is a good option for you.
Air Mattresses vs Memory Foam Mattresses
With so many different types of mattresses available, it can be difficult for buyers to decide which one will best suit their needs. Two of the most popular mattress construction technologies are air-filled cores and memory foam. When comparing these two products, consider price, comfort and durability before making a final selection.
Best Mattresses for Every Sleeping Position
A mattress is one of the most important purchases you can make because you spend hours each day sleeping and rejuvenating for the next day. While shopping for a new mattress, keep in mind the typical sleeping positions you have to ensure you will find the right mattress to help with bone or joint alignment. Below, you'll learn the best mattresses for every sleeping position. Sleeping on your back: If you primarily sleep on your back, you need to find a mattress with support to prevent pain in the lower back. Sleeping on a mattress that does not have enough support causes muscle strain in the back and increases the chance you will assume a poor posture during sleep, leaving you achy in the morning. The best mattresses for this sleeping position have at least 400 to 800 14-gauge coils. Innerspring mattresses feature firm coils to support the back yet still mold to the curvature of the spine. Mattresses with box springs are ideal for those who sleep on their backs because they stabilize weight, offering back support and increasing the life of the bedding. Sleeping on your stomach: While sleeping on your stomach is comfortable, it also increases pressure and strain on parts of the body like the neck or back. Soft mattresses are the best for those who sleep on their stomachs. Look for mattresses that have 300 to 400 14-gauge coils, which will ensure the mattress is soft and comfortable. If you must use a pillow, look into buying a memory foam style, which molds to the head and neck to stabilize them during sleep. Sleeping on your side: Side sleeping is one of the most common positions on a mattress, and it may also be one of the hardest positions to shop for. Since you lay on your side, there is pressure on the shoulders and hips, which could make a firm mattress uncomfortable for sleeping. A mattress that is too soft is often not supportive enough to keep the spine in proper alignment. The ideal mattress for this position is one that has supportive coils, with a memory foam topper to provide comfort to the joints of the body. Best Reasons to Buy Firm Baby Crib Mattresses
When you're shopping for baby crib mattresses, safety should always come first. A soft mattress may make sleeping more comfortable for you, but the same could be hazardous, even deadly, for your infant. Baby crib mattresses should be firm -- as firm as possible -- to keep your little one safe during the night or daytime naps. You may be tempted towards the soft baby crib mattresses for your child, thinking that he'll be more comfortable. Babies, however, don't need the same joint support as adults, but they do need baby crib mattresses that reduce the risk of harm from their baby furniture while they sleep. There are many reasons to buy a firm baby mattress, and the following tips can help you determine what to look for.

How to Buy Sheets to Fit a Pillow-Top Mattress

The height of the padding varies, but generally, manufacturers make pillow-top mattresses in depths varying from 7 to 22 inches. Specially made deep-pocket sheets for pillow-top mattresses are available; however, it is important to know the depth of your mattress before purchasing sheets. How to Clean Memory Foam Mattresses
A soft and comfortable memory foam mattress is a treat to sleep on -- until a drink is spilled on it or a pet has an accident on it. While it may seem impossible to clean, you don't have to be intimidated. Memory foam mattresses are actually easy to clean, and you'll have positive results if you follow the instructions. All you need are a few household products and some time for cleaning it thoroughly.
How to Choose a Mattress for Back Pain
There's not a single mattress type that's best for back pain. While studies suggest that a medium-firm mattress is most likely to soothe a sore spine, your mileage may vary: one person's back problem can respond well to a memory foam mattress, while another person might feel best on a model with inner springs. If you're on the hunt for some bedding to help alleviate a sore body, take a look below to learn how to choose a mattress for back pain.
There are basically three common types of mattresses used today: spring mattresses, memory foam mattresses, inflatable mattresses and feather beds. Each type has its own benefits. A mattress pad is a less expensive way to add comfort to your bed than purchasing a whole new mattress. With that said, if your mattress is lumpy or saggy, a mattress topper probably won't make much difference. If it is good, though, you have many different choices in material, price, and comfort. Whatever you get, just make sure you purchase the right size for your bed frame. Take a look below to learn more about the best-selling mattresses on the market.
How to Select a Mattress Set
If you're shopping for a new mattress, then you're about to make an important decision. You spend anywhere from six to nine hours each night in your bed, and your mattress can affect the quality of your sleep and overall well-being. Follow these instructions to pick the right mattress set for a perfect night's sleep.
How to Select a Box Spring
Many people underestimate the importance of a good box spring, but as the foundation of the bed, it can be just as vital to the comfort of your mattress set as the mattress. Before purchasing a box spring, it's necessary to think about size, quality and value, as well as comfort. The right box spring can make or break a mattress purchase, so shop wisely and take the time to select the box spring that's right for your bed. To select a box spring, good research and patient shopping are the keys to success.
How to Choose a Memory Foam Mattress Topper
Memory foam, also called "temper foam," was first developed by NASA in the mid-1960s to ensure passenger comfort and protection in airplane seats. Memory foam mattress toppers mold to the body, and then slowly spring back to their original shape. This makes them ideal for those with back or joint pain. However, not all memory foam mattress toppers are the same. Here's how to choose one that will best suit your needs.
Gel Memory Foam Buying Guide
Are you having trouble sleeping? Gel memory foam could be the solution. It's similar to traditional memory foam, but the gel adds benefits that many people find to be the secret to comfortable, restful sleep. Because it's a new product, you may not be sure what to look for when you're shopping. This information will help you find the gel memory foam mattress topper, pillow, or mattress that could help you get a better night's sleep -- every night.
How to Clean a Memory Foam Mattress Topper
When you're deep cleaning your home, you may want to pay special attention to your bed. A memory foam mattress topper can completely transform even the most uncomfortable mattress, but accidents do happen, and an accumulation of dust in even the most comfortable bed can prevent a good night's sleep. If it's time to freshen up your mattress topper, you may be wondering how it's done. Memory foam absorbs water while it is being washed; however, it is possible to wash it efficiently.
