Shipping was super fast. It arrived rolled up like a giant tootsie roll. Was full size inside a few hours, but I left it to allow it to breathe and air out for two more days before I put it on my bed frame. It continued to emit an odor for about a month, I changed the sheets and mattress cover once or more per week and aired the bed. I got it November 2012 and now it's February 2013. I LOVE it, soooo comfortable. I got the firm and a mattress topper just incase it was too firm, but it was the PERFECT firmness for me so I returned the mattress topper. Ordering another one for our guest bed.

Mattress is fine for my spare bedroom but as many of the other reviews noted the mattress is very firm. I ordered the Medium and probably should have ordered the soft. But for the price, this mattress will work well for what we need it for.

My boyfriend took a leap of faith and bought this mattress after a nightmare purchase from macysbed.com. We wanted a firm but comfortable mattress and ordered a "cushion firm" from XXX. Don't do it. This was about $$$ more and well worth it! It is hard to get out of bed in the morning. We've had for about a month now and it is AMAZING! We were nervous, never having had a memory foam before and firm at that. It is amazing and comfortable and firm! My boyfriend's choice place to sleep is usually the floor and I prefer a firm bed, we've reached a happy posturepedic medium with this choice! Will be back in a year to say how it holds up:)

I purchase this product at the recommendation of a colleague who had on previously and loved it. She saw I was looking at one similar to more than 5x the cost and told me about the one she had and was getting ready to repurchase since her dog had an accident on the one she first purchased. She and I ordered the same mattress that same day. I figured why not try it and I have no regrets. It compares very well to those I tried in retail stores. There is an order which lingered for a while but overall it is a wonderful product. You must allow it to rise 2 days at least before sleeping on it but once that is done you will sleep like a baby.

The mattress arrived a few days early which was nice. It looked like a tootsie roll on the front step. I managed to get it upstairs alone. It is heavy about 85 lbs. I opened it and instantly it started to grow. Within a few hours, it was huge. There was a smell but nothing crazy. We slept on it that night and once my head was on it, the odor was a bit strong. I washed the sheets daily for the first 3 days to get rid of the smell and now it is fine. We ordered the medium and it is perfect. He rolls around at night and I don't feel it. Other mattresses like this cost $1000 or more so this is a steal. I got it on sale plus another 12% coupon and free delivery. If ordered, I promise you won't be disappointed. So far, we love it

I've gotten the best nights' sleep of my life on this mattress. Seems a bit dramatic, I know, but I cannot say enough about how comfortable this mattress is. Makes it really hard to get out of bed! It shipped quickly, expanded to full size quickly and easily, and comes with a nice mattress cover. I detected no chemical smells even when it was just out of the box. Plus the price can't be beat. If you are considering buying this mattress, I say go for it.

We previously had a memory foam topper on our old mattress but its age started to show. We purchased this on a bit of a whim for our bedroom. It arrived fairly rapidly and though it was a bit of a chore lugging this suprisingly small package upstairs it was well worth it. It unpacked and expanded with ease. We slept on it the very same night, noting only a faint chemical odor. The mattress is very comfortable and molds well. I think I am still adapting to it a bit but overall my wife is very pleased.

I spent almost a month researching and reading reviews of different mattresses. After much thought, I finally bought this one. Took a week to get here which wasn't bad. Previously I had a S&F plush innerspring mattress. I was worried that a memory foam wouldn't come close to feeling like my innerspring. I ordered the "soft" version and waited for delivery. It almost fully expanded in 4 hours, and is better than my innerspring was. The worries went away of thinking it wouldn't be as soft. I'm completely 100% satisfied, and I'm a VERY picky person.

Mattress arrived in excellent condition and expanded to proper size in the first couple of hours after opening. The typical new odor dissipated in a couple of days. The mattress cover is quite attractive and plush. We ordered the Soft option and glad we did as it is fairly firm. You can't go wrong with Overstock products and their excellent Customer Service!

This is a very comfortable mattress. The firmness was what was expected - medium = exactly that. It's not too firm and not too soft. Nights are full of very deep sleep with rested and ache free mornings. This mattress required more airing out than the reviews from Overstock detailed. It took at least two weeks for the smell to finally go away. The window was left open and the mattress stripped to its covering on three separate days to assist with the airing out of the smell. Overall, this is a very good mattress for the price.

We were looking at Tempur pedic brand mattresses and decided to start with something more affordable to make sure memory foam was right for us. This is an excellent deal, especially with coupon codes, and super comfortable. The mattress is higher than our previous latex foam mattress we had for over 9 years. Don't worry about the heat/temperature problem. I was very concerned about this, because there are times when I sweat at night. I thought this would cause me to overheat every night. It's not true at all. I almost bought the same mattress with the special "cooling cover" and realized it was just a cover over the same mattress, that we could buy separately if necessary. We bought a complete zip around waterprooof cover for this, and a lovely bamboo mattress pad. No problems with overheating. Very comfortable. What an amazing deal!

Understandably, whenever you find what you're looking for at a good price, you tend to have an air of skepticism about you. "At that price? Something must be up." Well, the product not only didn't cost us an arm and a leg, but it arrived earlier than projected and has so far left us looking forward to going to bed each night. Even after our weekly chiropractic regimen, our old mattress seemed to undo our health efforts. We would wake up sore and almost enjoying a full night's sleep. Once we got this mattress, it was like night and day. It remains firm, doesn't transfer motion, and I can't really recall a night so far where I've woken up from tossing and turning - once we hit the pillow, we're down! It doesn't sleep hot like most memory foam mattresses do, and the foam scent goes away in the first day or two. An acceptable temporary setback for the quality and price.

Fast delivery... by overstock.com. I received the bed 14 days after ordering. The bed itself: its definitely confortable and seems to be made of good quality. Can't really rate a bed until about 12-18 months in, but if holds its shape and quality. I would definitely call it a "great" bed for the value, and comparable to some of the higher-end memory foam bed brands. thanks, Overstock.com for what seems to be a good deal and an easy transaction.

My husband has fybromyalgia and this mattress has really helped him sleep well.It is like sleeping on a cloud and we both look forward to going to sleep at night. We had to air it out for 2 days to get rid of the plastic smell, but other than that it was great.

Just purchased third one - that should say it all!!! We have a high-price, name brand (T........) in our master bedroom - got these for guest rooms - all of our kids say it is no different than sleeping on the ten times more expensive model in our room! When we are ready for a replacement - number 4 will be on the way to our house! If you like quality, but don't want to pay more than is necessary - this is the mattress for you.

I ordered the firm despite many reviewers preferring medium because my old mattress had sagged so badly I didn't want to risk something too mushy. Perhaps I too should have ordered the medium, because the firm is EXTREMELY FIRM. When I first lay down it seemed very comfy and relaxing, however I really couldn't sleep. I even checked that I had put it right side up, and then started to panic a bit thinking it wouldn't work out. Once I put my old foam topper on it became fabulous. I purchased the topper years ago from Overstock and it kept my old bed going for another few years which is exactly what I needed. Now I have a proper, good quality foundation mattress and the topper makes it feel like heaven. I also feel I will adjust to the firmness of the mattress over time since for years I've been sleeping on a saggy crappy $200 spring mattress purchased over ten years ago. If you don't already have a nice topper or don't want to bother with making adjustments, go with the medium and I'm sure it won't be needed. I give the mattress a high rating because of the price, quality, convenience--it arrived sooner than expected and was easy to manage on my own even with a bad back--and the fact that in the end it has worked out nicely.

The mattress came on time, instructions to open were easy to follow. I have been having lower back problems for a long time, whenever I slept on any mattress, so I have been sleeping on the sleeping bags for a decade, but this one has been great so far. I am falling asleep faster and sleeping longer and feeling refreshed in the morning. I chose the FIRM option with 4lb memory foam, it will be great if they have higer density than this like the tempurpedic. But overall, great product!! totally recommended.
