Excellent mattress. Delivery was fast and free! Nice organic cotton mattress cover! I let it air out and decompress for two days, but sweet dreams ever since!Read More
I havent officially used this yet, but it looks good and the cover looks qualityRead More
This is a firm bed. It was very firm at first and is now slightly softer which I like. Setup was quick and easy. You can pick it up by yourself but it is cumbersome. Odor is annoying for the first 10 days. Just keep windows open as much as you can. You will notice it build up in a room. As far as sleeping on it. It is very firm at first but I find it getting a little softer. You will not sink into this bed but gradualy it will meld to you. It is deceptively soft the first minute but firms up once you lay down. I could feel pressure at my hip when I sleep on my side at first but now it is comfortable after two weeks. One thing I noticed is I usually do not like to sleep on my stomach but on this bed it is very comfortable to do so. Also very comfortable sleeping flat. I could almost do without a pillow sleeping flat. For side sleepers you may want something with more cushion, but I do find it has softened up and is comfortable now. The cotton cover looks VERY good. I didn't want to put sheets on it at first because it was so soft. For the price I paid and delivered to my door step I am extremely happy. I am sleeping much better now.Read More
Bed is very firm. Thought it would help with my back, but it didn't. Now looking for a mattress topper to soften it a bit.Read More
Very comfortable and firm. I have no complaints. Im please with purchasedRead More
The package arrived in a compact cardboard encased cylindrical shaped wrap. It needs a team lift. The chemical foam odor was strong and we unwrapped the bed on deck table on a sunny/breezy day and aired it out for 12 hours. The smell diminished and was barely noticeable by day 4. The organic cotton cover gives the mattress high end, clean and refined look. It adds greatly to the comfort and keeps bedspreads neat. It has a zipper running all the way around. The mattress has very liitle give and has good back support. Sleeping as one on this queen size mattress feels lopsided since it lifts under the body weight and gives you eerie feeling of slipping off the bed at first. Shifting to the middle takes care of that. Overall very satisfied with this product.Read More

Dear Overstock, Brominated flame retardants refer to a general category of chemicals which are linked to breast cancer, thyroid hormone disruption, permanent disturbances in memory, learning and development. Studies have shown that they affect the developing brain and reproductive system. There are alternative flame retardants which the manufacturer can use which are not classified as brominated and still meet the Federal and State guidelines. If I am going to buy this mattress and sleep on it with my 2 year old, I will need to know if they use any of the chemicals that are classified as brominated. The manufacturer is advertising this product as organic and at a minimum should be able to disclose this information to their customers.

Best Pillow-top Mattresses for Back Pain
The key to a good night's sleep when you have chronic back pain is as simple as choosing a good pillow-top mattress. Choosing the best mattress involves knowledge of your personal needs and preferences. To get a comfortable night's sleep, start by choosing a pillow-top mattress made from the right materials for you. Next, choose your preferred thickness. Finally, have firm sleep support underneath the cushions of the pillow-top. Below, you'll learn the best pillow-top mattresses for back pain. Choose the materials: Pillow-top mattresses are made from a variety of materials, so choosing the one that is right for you can make all the difference in the world. People with muscle pain should consider down pillow-top mattresses, which provide a cocoon to sleep in. Those with back issues will generally prefer memory foam pillow-top mattresses, which conform to the body and offer consistent support to areas like the lower back. However, it is important to check the manufacturer's information regarding the recommended weight allowances for these types of pillow-tops. Consumers who are heavier than the recommendations may find that the pillow-top cushion compresses in uncomfortable ways, leaving the mattress lumpy. Determine the thickness: Pillow-top mattresses come in a variety of thicknesses, from just 2 inches to 8 or more inches deep. Like choosing the right materials for your pillow-top, choosing the right depth is vital to getting a good night's sleep. Thinner pillow-top mattresses will allow more of the support from the remainder of the mattress to come through and will not develop body indentations as pronounced as those in a deep pillow-top. Pillow-top mattresses that are too soft may fail to provide back support and cause an increase in back pain. However, deep pillow-top mattresses are excellent for customers who suffer from fibromyalgia or other chronic pain. Check the warranty: Just as you would with any other purchases of its size, check the warranty of your pillow-top mattress. Most manufacturers will provide limited, pro-rated replacement warranties for manufacturer's defects, and some will provide a "comfort guarantee." Others may have specific conditions that must be met in order to maintain the warranty, such as having a boxed spring by the same manufacturer. Take note of any special conditions for the warranty and keep the paperwork. View All Mattresses Back to Guides Directory View All Mattresses
How to Choose a Memory Foam Mattress Topper
Memory foam, also called "temper foam," was first developed by NASA in the mid-1960s to ensure passenger comfort and protection in airplane seats. Memory foam mattress toppers mold to the body, and then slowly spring back to their original shape. This makes them ideal for those with back or joint pain. However, not all memory foam mattress toppers are the same. Here's how to choose one that will best suit your needs.
Top 5 Reasons for Buying an Air Mattress
Air mattresses aren't what they used to be. Nowadays, air mattresses offer a slew of sleep-inducing features, like pillow tops, memory foam mattress pads and even built in MP3s, vastly improving on their giant-sized, pool-toy predecessors. As features improve, air mattresses, also known as air beds, are becoming more and more popular and are being used for a number of different functions, even in place of regular mattresses. Keep reading to find out the top five ways that you can get the most out of your air mattress.
Top 5 Reasons to Own a Memory Foam Topper
If you like to sleep well, nothing will help you quite like a memory foam topper. Memory foam mattress toppers can turn any bed into a place of dreamy, soft comfort. There are a lot of reasons to own memory foam toppers, and everyone has a different motive for owning one. Not sure if you need a memory foam mattress topper? These reasons may change your mind.
Choosing the Right Density for Your Memory Foam Mattress
A decade ago, choosing a memory foam mattress was easier because there were so few brands and options. However, as the prices of memory foam mattresses have dropped, more brands have begun producing memory foam bedding, and choosing the right mattress has become more challenging. However, one factor remains constant throughout the different brands: memory foam density. Memory foam density, expressed in pounds per cubic foot, makes a big difference in the softness, durability, support, and price of your mattress. Knowing a little about the different densities of memory foam mattresses can simplify the buying process and help you find the memory foam mattress that's right for you.
There are basically three common types of mattresses used today: spring mattresses, memory foam mattresses, inflatable mattresses and feather beds. Each type has its own benefits. A mattress pad is a less expensive way to add comfort to your bed than purchasing a whole new mattress. With that said, if your mattress is lumpy or saggy, a mattress topper probably won't make much difference. If it is good, though, you have many different choices in material, price, and comfort. Whatever you get, just make sure you purchase the right size for your bed frame. Take a look below to learn more about the best-selling mattresses on the market.
