The Comfort Dreams Coolmax is a high quality mattress that compares well to tempur-pedic but at a considerable savings. My husband has permanent spinal cord injury that very little helps relieve his discomfort. After sleeping on the Coolmax, it has had a great impact on reducing his daily pain level. The mattress really is like sleeping on a cloud. The reason we chose the Coolmax instead of the other similar model was living in Texas with the heat and humidity, the Coolmax stays cool during the most humid of nights.

This product arrived quickly, in a surprisingly small package. After unpacking, it "fluffed up" quickly, and the odor evaporated during the recommended 24-48 hour waiting period. Since this was my first memory foam matress, I was concerned that it would be too hot, but the cool max allows the matress to warm up without being too warm. It is extremely comfortable, and my sheet sets fit perfectly. The only problem with this matress is that I slept through my alarm for the first few days!!

Had been shopping for a mattress for about 6 months. Own a platform bed, so I did not want a box spring and needed to find support for back, shoulders and neck. Read many reviews and did lots of research. This mattress lives up to every statement made. I would highly recommend buying one. There was no smell whatsoever. It expanded in minutes and I slept on it the following evening. My sheets fit perfectly and I am enjoying pain-free sleep. I wake up feeling great!

We're very happy with this mattress. We kept looking at Tempurpedic but just couldn't see why we needed a $$$$ mattress - finally we bought this instead. It is very comfortable and feels like the Tempurpedics I have slept on. It had no odor however we did let it air out 24 hours before use. Even if it doesn't last a lifetime, at this price, we can replace it in several years & still come out way ahead.

This was the first time I have ever purchased a memory foam mattress and definately the first time I did it online and I was extremely concerned. Thanks to the indepth product description, I did not have a heat attack when I received. I would never have expected to receive a mattress rolled up. Gave this mattress to my son as a birthday/Christmas gift. Initial response to how he slept on it has been positive.

I fall asleep immediately. My wife takes longer but since she has a lot of pain, she thinks she would have preferred the medium to the firm. We slept on it the first night after only several hours of sitting. There didn't seem to be any strong smells, but it was made the day before we ordered it. I strongly recommend it, it seems like a good mattress for the price. My wife likes it also. It's much better than the old spring style we had.

This bed arrived at my house, where a friend was staying in my absence. Just returned from sleeping on my new bed and found that the first night I fell asleep and didn't move all night long...a rare event. The bed is firm but supportive for my boney body, but I tend to be a back sleeper and found it supportive. No issues with sleeping too warm (like the Temperpedic I own). Would recommend to anyone seeking new bed with good support!

After visiting several stores and even being told by the manager at one store he could not believe how much some stores charged for memory foam mattresses when his was priced at $800 (including a foundation) I realized that Overstock had great prices! I ordered the mattress & within a week it was delivered to my door. I had help opening it since it is fairly heavy. I bought a metal frame that is 14" high since I wanted under bed storage and most of the platform beds are lower. We put the mattress on the frame still in the package and opened it and let it "fluff" to it's actual size. I have slept well on it and other than when I first sit down on it I don't even realize it's not a traditional mattress. However, I have neck, shoulder & lower back problems and I definitely feel better sleeping on this mattress instead of a traditional one! Would definitely recommend it!

I was skeptical about ordering a mattress from an online website since I wasn't able to feel the firmness or see the mattress in person before buying. When it arrived, it was rolled in a tube and I became even more skeptical. I unrolled the mattress and slept on it later than night and I have never looked back. It is, by far, the most comfortable mattress that I have ever owned in my life and I am very happy with the product. It did smell funny when I first opened the packaging and continued to smell for about 2 nights but I was warned of this from other reviews and was not surprised. I have been sleeping on it for 2-3 weeks now and the smell is completely gone.

Love this mattress so far! It is my first memory foam mattress. It is very comfortable and sleeps great! The only thing that was a surprise to me is that it is not as cushy as a memory foam topper I have had previously from a large discount chain. I have to say you still will "melt" into it when you lay down though. If you want uber plush you probably need a mattress with a pillow top whether it's traditional spring or memory foam. Definitely satisfied and would not hesitate to purchase another mattress online.

Very comfortable, not hot. Doesn't make you feel like your sinking or laying on top of a board. I don't wake up every time my wife gets up or rollos over anymore. Great price for a comfortable mattress.

VERY, VERY happy with my purchase. This was my first purchase from Overstock and I relied soley on the reviews and I'm extremeley suprised and satisfied. My boyfriend has a tempurpedic bed, he paid over 5k for it and I would say this is VERY comparable. I can't believe something this good is out there.

Sleeps very well, appears to be durable. Highly recommend over expensive memory foam mattresses. Not hot at all.

I like the mattress. However, it is a little firmer than I had anticipated. While I'm not disappointed with the mattress, I probably would go with something a little less firm if I had to do over.

If I had known how firm this was, I would have bought another brand. I bought memory foam to relieve back pain, but this mattress is way to hard for me. I had to buy a memory foam topper to make it comfortable. I guess the bottom layer of foam is very firm and dense. If you like a firm mattress, this is the one for you. If you are looking for a mattress that conforms to your body, get one that has more memory foam.
