I can not say enough about this mattress. I was hit by a car when I was 15. I also have bursitis in both hips. This bed is like therapy for me. I looked locally for one and would have paid about 1500.00 more. My sister is going to buy one also. I can't believe the rich and famous can have any better than this. I also am very please with all my purchases from Overstock. I will continue shopping with them

Memory foam didn't hold up for more than a year....it was fabulous for the 1st 6 months, but then we noticed instead of supporting us or "cupping" us like it did at first, the mattress gave in and we would literally sink into the bed. My husband found it so uncomfortable he couldn't sleep in it and we were forced to buy something new.

Men are mars women are from venus. I love the bed. He hates it.. says it's too hard. Must sell it now. :(

My husband and I sleep like a dream on this mattress. We love it so much that we're buying the exact one for our guest bedroom. On top of this, the price cannot be beat!

Bought the bed sight unseen, never even took the time to see what a brand name foam bed would feel like, so I really don't know how close this one comes to the 3-4K type. Bed came promptly as do all my purchases from Overstock.com so no little surprise there, just another happy purchase from this company. Bed dimensions are slightly smaller than listed, but not enough variance to complain about. The chemical smell people gripe about wasn't too obtrusive, and dissipated in the most positive sense of the word. The bed is a little firmer than we had wanted, but after a few weeks it seems to be softening (or we are just getting used to it). One comment that I must agree with is that we can not get the mattress to maintain the trade mark "hand print" that we see advertised on the major brands product, but as I mentioned before we have never really tested any of the name brand beds. We live in Northern Arizona where we just went through two weeks of record heat (sleeping in our new bed), and we did not notice the bed being uncomfortably warm as others have complained about. Another common gripe that we had read in reviews prior to purchasing was the notion that the bed starts to "sag" in spots where people sleep, and although I am 6'2" and 240 lbs (not overweight at all) and my wife is 5'10" 135 lbs (I better note she isn't over weight at all, if I want to continue sleeping in the bed), we have not noticed any change in the beds resilience. Now keep in mind we have only had the bed a few weeks so I can't comment on the long term qualities of the bed but for now we are pleased.

The mattress is perfect. We shopped around for a few months. I am so glad we picked the comfort dreams 17' pillow top memory foam. The mattress arrived a few days after the order was placed. It was rolled up like a sleeping bag, so I cried when I saw the size at first. I thought "what have I done" As soon as you "pop" it open it grows like crazy. It only took 5 minutes for the whole 17 inches to be perfect. Ours didnt smell. I was worried about it from my research. The bed is great. I look forward to getting into bed every night. I sleep like a baby.

ive had this about a month now and heres the deal: its arrived in a cardboard wrapped package. be careful when opening it as it slices easily with scissors. it expanded to full size in a couple hours. it did have a weird smell for a couple days, i didnt find it problematic after the first couple hours of airing out, but my gf said it gave her a headache the first day. it is nearly identical to the real deal. i get the best sleep ive ever had. no more back pain when i wake up and i feel like i had a better night of sleep. i just hope it lasts a couple years, but it is truly awesome. i recommend it to all my friends. downsides: the smell stuck around for a a few days, and if i push my face into it i can still smell it. if you have hyper sense of smell (like my gf) let it air out without sheets on for a few days. I sleep much longer than before so i run late to appointments

Do not think that you need a foundation and a bed frame. I put mine on a standard height frame and foundation and it is now fully expanded and 33 inches tall! But I love it! It's very supportive and it cradles you into a full night's uninterupted sleep. I was able to find sheets and bedding easily. My 6'7" husband is very pleased to finally have a bed that fits!

This mattress arrived within 4 days, and replaced a floatation waterbed we had for over 19 years. We decided on this one after reviews and searches on the internet as well as overstock.com. When it arrived, it was easy to unwrap and set up. We did not notice any chemical smell, and slept on it within 8 hours of opening as it expanded quickly and firmly. My 16 year old son liked ours so much, I recently bought the twin as well for his room. The mattress topper is very comfortable. The mattress does require deep pocket sheets as it is very tall as others have mentioned. So far we are very, very pleased with the mattress and would recommend to anyone. We have rested well and comfortably since purchasing. What is shocking to me is this mattress was only 200.00 more than what we bought the waterbed for 19 years ago. Incredible deal.

Very comfortable bed, but Im having back pain like crazy... Not sure if it's how Im sleeping or the matress. The overall value is great. No 3k sticker shock here.

This mattress is amazing, and the price is outstanding!!!! Wow!!! One thing though, make sure when you order sheets and quilts etc. you get the Cal King Deep Pocket size! It is 17 inches thick :)

Worth every penny! Best night sleep weve had in a long time.
