can this mattress be used on an adjustable bed frame
My 14 year old son loved our foam mattress, so when it came time to replace his twin with an XL twin, I was so happy to find a foam XL on Overstock. He has allergies and is sometimes bothered by dust, so I was looking for foam for both comfort and hypo-allergenic reaons. The chemcial smell actually dissipated within a day and wasn't even that strong to begin with. He loves his new mattress!...

these are the 5 & 6 mattresses of this brand i have bought. i also own a brand name tempurpedic. these mattresses are every bit as high quality and comfortable at a small fraction of the cost. i especially like the anti-bug feature. if i ever need another mattress, i will be back to purchase this one. it is comfortable, thick, plush, and i couldn't smell any odor.Read More
This mattress is wonderful! I'm a college student and my mom bought this mattress for me fo school. It is soooo comfortable and I sleep like a baby every night! I highly recommend this mattress for college students!! Especially because it is anti-bacteria/allergy/dust mite and bed bug resistant!!! The cost isn't bad either! Considering most memory foam mattress toppers are around 200 dollars anyways!!!Read More
So far all OK.I hope it will continue.I just hope it stays level as it seems to lean a bit.Read More
Inflated in minutes. We were able to use it the same evening we received it. It is't heavy. It is a little firmer then I expected but my boys are using them and there are no complaints.Read More
This is a thick, substantial mattress, and after more than a month of use we are very pleased with the quality. I ordered the xl twin for my son, and he sleeps on it every night and loves it. He says it is very comfortable. I have tried lying on it a few times just to test it out and it is firm, quiet, and not bouncy (in a good way!). Seems to be very comfortable. It came with a nice zip on cover, too. No complaints at all...and for the ease of delivery (to my door in a few days) and the fact I didn't have to set foot in a mattress store, you can't beat the price.Read More
Mattress arrived in about a week. I followed the directions to open it without any problems. Left it out for 48 hours to expand before using it per directions. After the first night of use, I found it way too hard and put a mattress topper on it to make it more comfortable. It still feels very firm. Quality is OK for spare bedroom, and it's inexpensive but if I had to buy again, I would get the selectable comfort one.Read More
This mattress seems stiffer than the last Memory Foam mattress I purchased for instance it does not leave the hand print on it as the photo depicts. This was a very good buy for the price!!Read More

How to Buy Sheets to Fit a Pillow-Top Mattress
Everyone knows that pillow-top mattresses are designed for additional softness and comfort. Due to the padding, pillow-top mattresses have more depth than regular mattresses. The height of the padding varies, but generally, manufacturers make pillow-top mattresses in depths varying from 7 to 22 inches. Specially made deep-pocket sheets for pillow-top mattresses are available; however, it is important to know the depth of your mattress before purchasing sheets. Here's how to buy the best sheets to fit your pillow-top mattress.
How to Clean Down Featherbeds
Down featherbeds provide an additional layer of comfort between you and your mattress. If your bed produces more aches and pains than dreams, a featherbed is a good solution. Featherbeds should last for many years, depending on the quality of the feathers, properties of the cover and use. This article should help you get a grasp on how to clean down featherbeds.
Best Pillow-top Mattresses for Back Pain
The key to a good night's sleep when you have chronic back pain is as simple as choosing a good pillow-top mattress. Choosing the best mattress involves knowledge of your personal needs and preferences. To get a comfortable night's sleep, start by choosing a pillow-top mattress made from the right materials for you. Next, choose your preferred thickness. Finally, have firm sleep support underneath the cushions of the pillow-top. Below, you'll learn the best pillow-top mattresses for back pain. Choose the materials: Pillow-top mattresses are made from a variety of materials, so choosing the one that is right for you can make all the difference in the world. People with muscle pain should consider down pillow-top mattresses, which provide a cocoon to sleep in. Those with back issues will generally prefer memory foam pillow-top mattresses, which conform to the body and offer consistent support to areas like the lower back. However, it is important to check the manufacturer's information regarding the recommended weight allowances for these types of pillow-tops. Consumers who are heavier than the recommendations may find that the pillow-top cushion compresses in uncomfortable ways, leaving the mattress lumpy. Determine the thickness: Pillow-top mattresses come in a variety of thicknesses, from just 2 inches to 8 or more inches deep. Like choosing the right materials for your pillow-top, choosing the right depth is vital to getting a good night's sleep. Thinner pillow-top mattresses will allow more of the support from the remainder of the mattress to come through and will not develop body indentations as pronounced as those in a deep pillow-top. Pillow-top mattresses that are too soft may fail to provide back support and cause an increase in back pain. However, deep pillow-top mattresses are excellent for customers who suffer from fibromyalgia or other chronic pain. Check the warranty: Just as you would with any other purchases of its size, check the warranty of your pillow-top mattress. Most manufacturers will provide limited, pro-rated replacement warranties for manufacturer's defects, and some will provide a "comfort guarantee." Others may have specific conditions that must be met in order to maintain the warranty, such as having a boxed spring by the same manufacturer. Take note of any special conditions for the warranty and keep the paperwork. View All Mattresses Back to Guides Directory View All Mattresses
Best Reasons to Have a California King Bed
Similar in size to a standard king bed, a California king bed is four inches longer, allowing a lot of extra room top to bottom. A California king bed measures 72 inches wide and 84 inches long, and a standard king mattress measures 76 inches wide and 80 inches long, so while a California king mattress is four inches longer, it is also about four inches thinner than a standard king bed. Making a decision between the two might be difficult. Ultimately, both are great options, but there are a few conditions that might make a California king size bed the clear choice. Before you pick which king mattress is right for you, here are a few of the best reasons to choose a California king bed.
