We had purchase the mattress to replace our current air mattress system. We highly advise "against" the use of an air mattress system. Never again. We did not want to use innerspring or waterbed options. We have looked into memory foam mattresses in stores but was taken aback by the $3000 price tag. Hard to look away from the values offered at Overstock. So we decided to try out the Overstock option. We were a bit concerned about a mail order/ sight unseen purchase. We are very happy with our purchase and we are sleeping very well on this new mattress. My wife and I both noticed we no longer get out of bed and hobble like we are crippled when we started to walk. My concern was that I would to too hot on it. That has not been an issue. We do use a pillow-top mattress cover so that may be a factor in comfort. Also it is very cozy on the winter nights. Somehow the memory foam keeps you body temps very well. Neither hot or cold. I have already highly recommended your product to my friends and have told them of our complete confidence in buying from Overstock. Since I didn't pay a lot for this mattress, I was expecting little more than a piece of foam that would be ok for guests. I was surprised by how nice the mattress looks on the bed with the cover. Extremely pleased with everything about this mattress.

Got this as a house warming gift for my son's first apartment. He is 6 foot, 6 and 1/2 inches tall and works on his feet all day. He has told that the mattress sleeps great and he wakes up rested much better than before.

Lots of people like memory foam but it's not for us. It holds heat which is great unless you are a hot sleeper then it's miserable. Don't like that dense, lack of movement when you lay down, either. So, not really a review of the product as I'm sure it's fine. Be aware of the heat factor, though.

I waited to do this review after I had this for 2 years. I bought this BEFORE buying a mattress set. You ONLY NEED a box spring! My bed now is very high but I've learned to live with it. That's my only complaint and it really isnt a complaint. I love it. My husband gets up during the night and I don't feel it at all.

My wife loves the memory foam mattress. Myself, I weight over 300 pounds,and after a year it is starting to indent. It is a little difficult to get up from, but it is still more comfortable than most mattresses.

Having spinal stenosis and recent cervical fusion my sleep was interupted several times a night due to pain. I sleep better on this mattress than I have slept in many years. I would reccommend this mattress to anyone with back problems.

Me and my bf had been sleeping on a full size mattress for 2 yrs now and he's a big guy so it was getting really uncomfortable. We finally decided to get a King size mattress but did not want to spend a whole lot on it. I was researching mattresses for awhile and this one seemed to have the best ratings and a great price, plus my boss also has one and highly recommended it. I was worried about the mattress having a chemical odor like people on here have mentioned but the smell was so slight and it was completely gone by nighttime. I love this bed, it's soft but not overly so. Our family and friends who have come over have wanted to lay down on the bed to test it out and everyone loves it and wants to buy one now.

This is actually a pretty good memory foam mattress. It's not a tempurpedic, but it is descent. It is much better then a normal coil mattress too. At least, that's my opinion. :-)

My wife and I didn't want to spend a ton on a king size bed. This turned out to be great. Pros: comfortable, no terrible chemical smell, great overstock shipping, cheap Cons: didn't puff up to the full 8 inches

Bought this mattress to go with a king frame we bought from another store. Good price for what it was. It was a bit too firm for me though and I added my old foam topper. My husband likes it and no complaints. He likes it more firm than me, so technically we made our own sleep number bed. If you're looking for an extra soft mattress, then this is not it. It's a bit firm but softer than a spring mattress. I could feel when my husband got out of bed during the middle of the night or the morning. This problem was solved when I put my old topper on my side of the bed.

I bought this bed because I had always wanted to try a tempur-pedic but did not want to spend the money. The reviews of this mattress were accurate and all positive. So I gave it a chance. Overstock has great delivery and I was shocked how quickly I received this mattress. I followed the instructions and un-packaged it within 48 hours. The chemical smell was only slight and it went away with 2-3 days. The mattress gained it's shape quickly. It is very firm but extremely comfortable and I assume it will soften somewhat over time. But even now it is great. I purchased a traditional wood box spring and frame set-up from a local store for $230 and I can't believe how stable this bed is. My wife can toss all night and I never know it. All in all a great value. Thank you Overstock.

Arrived quickly, fully expanded in just a few hours, no smell. Slept on it the first night. A little hard to get use to. I used my 3" topper on it, but don't know if I will leave it on. Does not seem to need the topper

We are completely satisfied with our purchase. It's a little scary buying something sight unseen that you spend so much time on but after reading all the great reviews we felt it was worth the risk. We have not been disappointed. The mattress came in a timely manner and was easy to unpack and get in place. It didn't take too long to expand to it's full size and is super comfortable to sleep on. We bought an inexpensive regular king size mattress and put this on top so with the two of them it measures about 15-16" which is perfect for buying sheets. We feel like we have a luxury bed for a whole lot less!! Buy and enjoy.

Had no idea how I was going to get king size mattress to third floor loft. I read all of the reviews & decided to try this. It comes rolled up like carpet, open & within hours is full size & so comfortable. Worked fantastic for me on a platform bed. Great value!!

Love it! UPS delivered within a week, (we live in the boondocks) we opened it and allowed it to 'breathe'. It didn't smell bad, but I like to ' follow the directions '. Placed it on bed frame, placed previously purchased from Overstock 4 " topper on top of it and have been happily sleeping on it ever since. VERY NICE cover encloses the foam mattress. Would buy again! :)

The delivery time was much faster than I expected, the mattress took mere minutes to plump back to it's original shape with little detectable odor. My one complaint is that is it so comfortable I never want to get up! And all for under $*** - sweet!
