I've had this mattress almost a year now. I don't like the slightly smaller pillow top that prevents it from having nice firm edges for support. I am an edge sleeper both sides on my back and on my side both. This mattress often indents way too much on the edge areas. Middle seems to be alright but I can't control my sleep habits waking up almost always on the edges. Also sometimes sleeping on my side I will wake up in pain in my hips and it seems it's the mattress at fault. I have never expierenced that with other beds before. Also buyer beware. This is 14 inches high and pretty close to that. If you choose one of the 14-16 inch high stand alone no box springs needed bed frames it puts this bed at 28-30 inches high for getting in and out of. I find this too high. I did not deduct any stars because I didn't do my math well. It's just you need to think about sitting on your kitchen table and about rolling out of bed from that height to see what I'm talking about. A small child might need a step stool and my older cats do both getting onto it and down from it safe. I wish I'd gone with the choose your own firmness and only 8-11 inch mattress instead. I would have gone with firm as possible due to that edge effect. I also do not like the way sheets fit over the rounded pillow top edges on the top and foot of the mattress. I think it is made well enough..no assembly really...it would look better if it wasn't rounded on the edges. And not sure why a memory foam mattress would cause pressure pain in the hips? My first week with the bed and I was like a lot of other folks here...super...except for the height.

This mattress is quite remarkable. It literally feels as though you aren't lying on top of something. I sometimes twist into some positions that would normally be pretty uncomfortable in the night, but this mattress supports my whole body no matter what, and I wake up feeling much better than I ever have on other mattresses. It ships in a very compressed package, but just unroll it and leave it out for about 10 hours to a full day, and it puffs out to the full 14". Regular twin sheets, at least the ones I've used, still fit on it, even though it's slightly larger than a normal mattress (mainly just taller). The fabric lining the pillow-top layer is very soft and smooth, and since it's attached to the mattress (unlike the mattress topper I used to have) I don't have to worry about it sliding around and getting off-center. Definitely worth the money, especially if you often have trouble getting quality rest.

i recently purchased the twin pillow top 14 inch. it smelled for a few days, but rolled out to a smooth comfortable sleeping surface. This is a very firm mattress but I believe it will last a long time. My son uses it and I have slept on it several times. It is great and now my daughter wants one too.

Comfy. Love the depth of it. Makes a great extra bed for guests.

We bought this mattress for our daughter a few years ago already (2 or 3), and she loves it! It's so nice, we are buying a new one for our own bed (larger size). We would highly recommend this product after a few years of use already.

My mom could not get a good night's sleep. She was exhausted and her health was failing. Got this mattress and she says she sleeps like a dream. She loves it. Says's it is incredibly comfortable. A little too heavy for her to change the sheets herself (we have it with a side and the top against a wall). But, the comfort level makes it worth it. We are thinking of buying two more.

The price was great and the matress is very comfortable. I would deffentily buy it over and over again.

I have purchased two of these matresses. One for myself and one for a family member. I will be purchasing one more in the near future. I have had other memory foam matresses and this one is very comfortable and as good as the more expensive versions. I have had NO issues with the matress being compress for shipping but I did heed the warnings to follow the directions for unpacking the matress and letting it return to its original shape for 48 hours.

Great mattress. Comes packaged in a tight bag. Is full to shape after a few hours and very comfortable for our guests.

This product was even better than I expected it to be. There was no weird smell (and I have a sensitive nose) and the mattress actually took full shape within an hour or two. It is so unbelievably comfortable. I've already had to make my roommates GET OFF the bed because they love the way the mattress feels. I would HIGHLY recommend this product. (BTW... I was having a lot of back pains prior to sleeping on this mattress and my back is 100 percent now!)

I bought this for my daughter to replace her old mattress. It smelled a bit at first, but it went away after about 2 weeks. She was away for a weekend, and I slept on her bed to see if I liked it enough to buy another one for myself. I couldn't believe how comfortable it was! I can never get comfortable, and I have back problems, but it was so supportive . I didn't spend 20 minutes trying to find a comfy spot, I melted right into the bed, and yet it was still firm enough to not feel like I was surrounded. I got a good night's rest, and no aches in my shoulder from laying on my side.

I found this mattress to be very comfortable and am very happy with the soft firmness. It's not to soft, just right. I have been sleeping on my mattress for about 3 weeks now and find I'm not tossing and turning like I was with my previous one. I was pleased with the fast delivery and will order from overstock again in the future.

It's been over 10+ years since I bought a new mattress so you can imagine how much in pain my neck and back were. The memory foam on this REALLY HELPS. I should mention that I'm 5'5" and under 110 lbs., and this bed still made a noticeable difference. Maybe it's because I have a "bubble butt" so it's nice for me to sink in and form into the bed when i'm sleeping on my back. I sleep on my side A LOT more though, and it's also nice that my shoulders can sink in.The only problem? Now that my body is sinking in and forming nicely to the bed... I need a new pillow! I have a contoured pillow (non-memory foam), and it is too stiff to match with my mattress. I just found out I have TMJ so now I have to get a special pillow. Anybody recommend pillows for TMJ?Anyways, I would definitely recommend this mattress to anyone. Shipping was fast and incredibly easy to set up. I have almost no arm muscles but I could still get the mattress unrolled, up the stairs, and onto my bed. great price too!

This is single the best mattress I've ever purchased - bar none, and the most comfortable. It's also the sturdiest mattress I've ever had. You can dive bomb onto it, (guilty pleasure) kids can jump on it, the dogs (we have two BIG greyhounds) can roll around on it, and everyone can SLEEP on it. It's both soft and supportive (how do they do that?) and warm in the winter (ahhhh). EVERYONE in the house loves it. ZZZZzzzzz

I bought this for my son, so I haven't actually slept on it. However, he loves it! I like the fact that it comes with a built in cover to protect the memory foam.

This is a comfortable mattress, and consequently I do very litle tossing and turning during the night compared to my conventional mattress. I now sleep a longer, deeper more restful sleep than before. This product is really worth the money, and I would recommend it particularly for someone with back problems.

This mattress is wonderful! After back surgery, a regular mattress was out of the question. We were successful at placing two memory foam mattress toppers. It works, but you have to re-adjust them every-so-often. This mattress is very light weight, easy to make the bed, wonderful and fabulous to sleep on! I can't describe the feeling.......firm, but not firm. Soft, but not too soft. You don't sink into the mattress, you float and it conforms to your body and caressing it. It came in a box. All you do is open the box, carefully unseal the protective plastic liners (2) and let it do its thing for 72 hours. It comes with a washable mattress cover. Overstock sent it very quickly and with no problem at all! They had excellent customer service when I had a question about the mattress cover. Overstock is EXCELLENT! The mattress is the best buy for us this year! We bought two! May have to buy more for the rest of the family since they all love laying on them! Thank you Overstock

all i need to say is that the first two nights that i slept on this bed i overslept which i had not done in many a year! my previous mattress was nearly twenty years old and seemed to do the job, but you don't know what you are missing until you change. my back instantly felt better and i hope this benefit will continue for many years. would and have recommended this mattress to friends!

I purchased this mattress for my mother, so I personally have not slept in it, but she reports to me it is the best mattress by far, that she has ever owned, and has not slept as well as she is now, for many years.
