This item cannot be returned once opened, so buyer beware.My first impression of this mattress was good, but after 7 months of use, I am very disappointed and in search of another mattress. Before I go further, let me say that we are not large people... I am 5'9" / 155lbs and she is 5'2" / 115lbs... not exactly a crushing load.This memory foam is very much inferior to the brand name equivalent, so don't purchase this thinking you're getting similar quality. My sister has had the real-deal for years now and the density and comfort is hugely different and it has perfectly retained its shape. This mattress does *not* retain it's shape over time. There are two permanent indentations where our lower backs / butts rest that do not return to their original shape by the next evening. Your body heat softens the foam and allows you to sink in a bit, but with two people, the foam between you softens and you both end up sinking toward the center of the bed. Using a pillow is counter-productive with this mattress as well. Your weight distribution shifts to your butt and prevents your shoulders and head from warming up the surface and sinking it at all. So your butt sinks in even further, which doesn't feel great over a long night. It is actually much more comfortable to sleep without the pillow on this mattress. This allows your head and shoulders to sink in a bit and spreads your weight more evenly across your entire body.Would not recommend this purchase.

I have to admit I was a little leary to make this purchase, I asked myself how can they do it....this has got to be a knock off item. I was wrong. I would recommend this item to everyone, just remember to set 2 alarm clocks, or let the boss know in advance, that you will be late.

It's actually been over a year and a half since I bought this mattress, but I can't believe I haven't written a review until now. This is, hands down, the best mattress I've ever slept on. I appreciate it even more now that I've met someone who has Restless Leg Syndrome. At his house, on his standard spring mattress, each and every one of his twitches and kicks wake me up. At my house, I don't feel a thing and I sleep soundly through the night. Absolutely worth every penny and then some. Can't recommend this mattress highly enough.

I was hoping this foam mattress would provide me the comfort sleep I had hope for without waking up in the morning with backaches. Unfortunately, this foam mattress is too soft for myself and my wife probably because of the "pillow top" feature. Instead, I flipped the bed upside down and I am sleeping on the urethane base which is very firm but not ideal and this is only a temporary solution. If you need a FIRM foam mattress, then consider other foam mattresses that are available on Overstock. Also, it's 14 inch high so I did not account for the increased bed height. There was no issue with the foam mattress inflating after 24 hrs and the weird smell disappears after a few days. Hope this review helps you.

I really like this bed. It was firmer than expected but I quickly got used to it and it is so comfortable. I have fibromyalgia and it has really helped my pain. I looked at Tempurpedic but the price was laughable. The other nice thing is that this mattress is so much lighter than a coil spring mattress that I can rotate it myself. Overall a really good buy.

This mattress sits very high and provides firm yet comfortable support. The pillow top is soft but if you really want to sleep at the pinnacle of luxury top off this mattress with a feather bed mattress or topper. You'll never want to get out of bed!

Each night my sleep would be interrupted due to pain and my morning ritual was to sit on the edge of the bed putting my head down on my knees to allow my spine to stretch out. I did this so I could stand. I purchased the 14-inch Memory Foam and was like a child at Christmas. I could hardly wait the 24-48 hours needed for it to expand and set up! The first night--I was not awakened by pain. I slept straight through the night! It was like a miracle! I felt so refreshed just by having a full solid sleep without interruption. I did experience some stiffness in the morning, but in a short while even that went away. This mattress is a slice of heaven. The quality is second to none--a definite winner.

What a great mattress at a great price. Had it delivered to my workplace and it worked out well because it was rolled in to a duffle like bag with handles on both ends and we threw it into my Jetta ( not a big car ). Is heavy enough where 2 people should carry it. We let it regain it's normal size for about 24 hours but probably didn't have to. My husband noticed the first morning after sleeping on it, his legs weren't hurting him when he woke up and my back felt 10 times better.

There are lots of reviews for this mattress under the Queen Size listing, but i just wanted to add my two cents here. . . First of all, the pillow top is actually a two-inch layer of more easily compressed, resilient foam on top of the main block of memory foam. It is not removable. I think this is brilliant - you sink into it immediately and can get comfy while the memory foam underneath conforms to your body. It also springs back quickly, so you're not stuck in a pit. . . Setup is easy - we had a low-profile box spring to start with, so threw it right on top of that and cut it out of the duffel. We may put a piece of laminate or subflooring under it eventually - no need to replace your bed. . . The cover zips off for washing, and goes on and off just like a sheet - you do not remove the bottom of the cover. Bit of a wrestle and tug to get it back on, but no worse than a conventional mattress cover. . . After it's fully expanded, washing the mattress cover and leaving the bare mattress to air for a while does a lot of good in diminishing the "new car/hot peanut oil" smell that it does have. I highly recommend this if you have a sensitive nose, as my husband does. . . But the SLEEP. EXQUISITE. If you have already had an opportunity to try a memory foam mattress in the store, you will not regret pocketing that $1000 and getting this one instead. My husband has fibromyalgia, my mother spinal arthritis - and this has been a godsend for both of them. SWEET SLEEP. I sleep better, too - i'm not up in the middle of the night looking after them!

After one year of happy ownership the memory foam became just foam. It no longer holds it's shape, it no longer reacts to body heat, it is just an uncomfortable foam mattress now. I can't get a refund, I can't return it, I can't be reimbursed. Waste of money!

Very comfortable; have had this mattress for 3 years and it's still in great shape. Good on my back and you don't feel the motion when the other person is tossing and turning.

it's sooo comfortable wished i would've bought one earlier. much less tossing and turning at night, and definitely reduced the back pains. it's great!

This mattress was a birthday gift for my son and he loved it! He said that it was so comfortable that when he laid down to test it, he ended up taking a nap and sleeping for hours. This is the first full-sized mattress that we have purchased. However, we purchased two of the twin sized 14-inch pillow-top mattresses from Overstock over a year ago and we have been very pleased with them.

Soft but firm. Really contours to my body. I'm very happy with it. The only minor complaint I have is, I wish the memory foam portion were thicker. But it is just fine.

This mattress is superb, I actually have this mattress in a king size. It is so comfortable that when my brother in law needed a new mattress I immediately suggested that he purchase this one. The mattress is very comfortable, and best of all it does not move with someone gets on it. This mattress reminds me of the commercial where the child is jumping on the bed and the wine glass doesnt tip over. So worth it!

I LOVE IT!!!! IT IS VERY BIG, AND YES IT IS HARD BUT SOFT AT THE SAME TIME, IT TAKE A FEW MINUTES TO GET USE TO IT BUT ONES YOU WAKE UP IN THE MORNING YOU KNOW IT WORTH EVERY PENNY YOU PAY FOR IT. I LOVE IT!!!

I've had this mattress for a year now and it is the best mattress purchase I have ever made. It arrived promptly and was easy to install. It took about 3 hours for it to resume its size and was easily placed on my bed. I recommend this mattress to anyone in the market to purchase a mattress.

We bought this mattress for our daughter in nov.08.about a year ago,and i will tell you it's a great mattress.I sleep on it all the time.It's firm with very good support.Only thing is it doesn't have springs in it so when my daughter wants to jump and bounce it's not as good as a spring mattress.That's ok I take the great night sleep over a monkey jumping on a bed anytime.
