I can't say enough about this mattress. If you experience ANY discomfort sleeping, buy this! I have fibromyalgia and have absolutely dreaded going to bed for the past two years because bedtime means pain for me. I have considered a memory foam mattress for a couple of months (since I laid on one in a store and realized that my hip joints didn't hurt), but at $3,000 with Christmas around the corner . . . it didn't seem like a wise fiscal choice. Then I found THIS mattress at Overstock. I was still a bit skeptical --- this is a pretty large investment to make online, sight unseen --- but I ordered it and hoped for the best. That was a month ago and I haven't had hip pain since! Normally, my hips hurt every day and every night. I hadn't slept on my side for two years. Even my husband can sleep in positions he hasn't enjoyed in years. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this mattress. In fact, I've already recommended it to my best friend, my dad and my brother! And now you!

I had been looking for a Memory Foam mattress for quite some time, but the prices were exorbitant! I knew that Overstock had great quality/prices, so I took a chance. I used the "live chat" option and felt confident to order the product. We have NOT been disappointed at all! It was even fun unwrapping it, and watching the mattress become a Calif King in no time flat! More than that, it is extremely comfortable, and we have been sleeping like the proverbial babies! And the price? a quarter of what we would have paid for the "name brand" in dept stores. Thanks again, Overstock!

The consumer review aspect is a company's most valuable asset. Here is ours of this product. My wife and i have tried various type's of bedding, i.e. spring, air, water, & foam. So we were aware of what to expect in our purchase of this bed(mattress). And it is with pleasure that we are able to say that, as with most other products we have purchased from Overstock, it was "Money Well Spent"! Quality, appearance, and function compare to similar brand name products. Price to value far exceeds every other competitor. Bedding is by nature, a personal experience to all people of all ages. As we are in our late 50's, to most people in our age bracket, aches and pains are beginning to be to often unwanted companions. So a quality nights sleep is a revered experience for us. As mentioned, having tried other types of bedding, the foam mattress for us is the type that allows us that quality of sleep with the least amount of aches.(pressure points) If you are the type of person that wants a mattress to engulf, and wrap around you, as you sink into it, then do NOT buy this mattress. It is rather FIRM at the onset, but does in short amount of time soften to the degree that it contours your entire body, without pressure points that cause most aches and pains. Now as to it's packaging. The canvas bag it comes in is sufficient for protection and hygiene if freight handlers are careful. As others have mentioned, it is hefty, but manageable. It does reach it's full height rather quickly. Ours came early am. we slept in it that night. We did NOT notice any odor as mentioned by others. Delivery was in the 7-10 day time frame. All in all, this was an excellent purchase for us, one we would make again with NO reservations. Just be sure of what you expect in your type of bedding, and you will have NO regrets.

We've been married forty years and this is by far the best, most comfortable mattress we've ever owned. We've always bought a good mattress because of the many back surgeries I've had. My wife has been getting a restful night's sleep too, since I don't disturb her whenever I move and vice-versa. The $2.95 shipping is unheard of, therefore, in our opinion, Overstock. com has the best value for your money.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this bed. After years of waking up 4 to 5 times per night, I am now down to maybe one time. Arrived in a big round tube like duffle bag. Easy for one person to handle. Unfolded the bed and within 5 hours it was nearly fully expanded. We were able to sleep on it that night. Another great feature is the fact that another person can be moving on the bed and there is very little if any detection of their movement. After a few weeks of sleeping on the bed, I can truely say I can find nothing negative about the bed and have told several friends and family about it. Though it was not mentioned in the advertisement ,there is a very nice mattress cover that comes with the mattress and covers it completely on all sides. It was on the bed when it arrived. From order date to delivery was a little less than 3 weeks, which I thought was great considering it was Christmas time.

At first, I was very nervous ordering this mattress due to not being able to return it after opening it, but the huge savings was too good to pass up. The mattress came very quickly and was in good condition. It took about 48 hours for it to puff up to its full size (due to packaging), but I let it continue to sit for the full three, recommended days before putting it on our bed. It is extremely comfortable for us and we are sleeping very well. You just can't beat the price if you're looking at memory foam mattresses. The only thing that would've made this a better value would be to have a guarantee on the mattress, in case of compression issues, etc. I will definitely order again from Overstock.com.

I bought this mattress in Feb. 2008 and it was great for two years. But in 2010, it has lost it's shape and turned into a sinkhole, and given me even worse back pain. Maybe it works for others, but this side sleeper is finding it very uncomfortable...and shopping for a new mattress.

I purchased this mattress for Christmas and so far it has been amazing, the only problem I have found is that I don¿t want to get up in the morning. Also my fiancé has not complained about back pain since we started using it, I find it is a little more firm than I would have liked but with the pillow top gives it an excellent balance of both firm and soft and both of us are happy. I did a lot of research before buying this and was timid about buying a bed I couldn¿t test, but it worked out and we are very happy. Just to give you some reference I weigh 175 and she is around 120. Also it is very heavy so you need help, and don¿t open it up until you get it in the correct room.

My husband and i bought this bed in feb. so we have been sleeping on it for almost a year. We are still happy with this bed. It is holding up to all 5 of us in this family and our dog. We have paid a lot more money for other mattresses and were not happy with them in the first year. This has been a good buy and we are still happy with it.

I read a lot of reviews before my husband and I decided to buy this mattress. I read reviews that said their mattress didn't hold up, etc after a month or so. I have waited since April to write this review to give an honest opinion. Our mattress has held up very well. My husband and I are more than happy with the value and quality of the bed. Our kids have even 'bounced' or tried to on it. The bed has been well worth what we paid and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a bed that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.The bed showed up looking like a huge tootsie, the UPS guy was needing help. This is a two person package. We got the bed unrolled around 4pm and the bed was a full 14 inches by bedtime. There was no smell. I was prepared to open the windows if necessary and it wasn't.We bought Cal king sheets off of Overstock and they fit beautifully. The mattress is as pictured, very nice. If you are wanting to make a change and don't want to spend the money the 'real' mattress people are charging, this is a great bed. We are most likely going to buy another for our guest bedroom.

Although we have only had this mattress for about a month...we are quite impressed with the quality. My husband is nearly 300 lbs and I about 163. Neither of us feels the other's movement. We used to have a rather expensive Beautyrest and thought it was the best, but this beats even it. It is firm and yet soft. Your body contours dictate where your body sinks in and just how much. It cradles your body. I have had a tempurpedic brand pillow for about 25 years and know the quality of sleeping on density foam. Now got my temperpedic type mattress without the high price. We absolutely love it! Overstock.com had a great price. And believe me, I did about a month's work of research. We purchased it and it arrived just as they said it would about 10 to 14 days. Quality and value in the same sentence...it can't be beat!

I was very apprehensive about buying this online. I had no idea that it would come rolled up. The delivery guy left it laying in the driveway. But...when we opened it and let it "grow", it became firm and was very comfortable. I really like it now that I've had it for a few weeks. I sleep well and there is no tossing and turning. I wish I had more time to sleep.

I wasnt sure about buying a bed online. Since it was a fourth of the price of beds we were looking at, we took the risk. It really paid off. The mattress seems well made and looks great. It has a nice cover around it and is a neutral color. When it came, we carried it upstairs and over the carpet. We set it on a sheet and opened it. It didnt leave a mark on the sheet or the wood floor downstairs. We set it up in the morning and by bedtime, it had fully expanded. I opened the windows and the ran the ceiling fan during the day. By bedtime, the odd smell was gone. I sleep on my side or stomach and my husband sleeps on his back. We both think the bed is firm but not hard. I havent had pressure point problems with my shoulders and hips since we bought this bed. It is so comfortable that we were both late for work the first week we had it.

My husband and I did a lot of searching for the right mattress. I never thought I'd buy one on line without checking it out first. I read the reviews and there were only very few negative comments. This was sooooo scary for us, because I knew if I didn't like it, it would take a lot of work to send it back and I didn't want to waste my time. We got our new mattress and we LOVE IT!!!!!!!!! I can't believe the quality and especially for the price. That's what scared me, how can a mattress be so inexpensive and really be good quality? Well it is,, I give this mattress a big thumbs up.

This mattress was purchased to go with our new Lucca storage bed, and it works perfectly. The comfort is so much better than our previous coil spring mattress. My backaches are finally gone!!!

I am 9 months pregnant and was very hesitant to purchase a mattress over the internet without trying it out first, but I am glad I did. The mattress is a great value and I love that I don't feel my husband turning or moving around in the bed. It really is a great mattress and even better price.

My husband and I were in need of a new Cal. King mattress because our old spring one was wore out. My husband did considered a Sleep Number bed. But after doing research, we found that the air mattress can introduce mold. I have asthma and I've very allergic to mold. I told my husband to keep searching for a new mattress. He came across this website and this mattress. After reading many of the positive reviews for this mattress, we made the decision to purchase it. Since my husband was at work at the time the mattress came in, I had to bring it into the house by myself. The mattress came in a canvas bag which weighed 95 pounds. It's very heavy for a woman to bring in a bag like that by herself. The canvas bag also had some dye on it. It's highly recommended that you unpack the mattress from the canvas bag BEFORE you bring it into the house. The dye will stain the carpet, making it difficult to remove. Once the mattress was unpacked, it started to expand to full form. I had to quickly get it onto the bed before it took full shape. The mattress was fully expanded in only 4 hours. This is by far the BEST mattress we have ever slept on!!! We now get better sleep and wake up the following morning energized and ready to take on the day. We also find ourselves falling asleep a lot faster than ever before. My husband and I had this mattress for 2 weeks now and we can say that was the asking price of $700.00 is well worth the investment. My husband and I are in our late 30's, both 6-feet tall and we both weigh in the 250-pound range. This mattress will support tall and heavy people with ease. I went out of town last week and had to sleep on a regular spring mattress. On the first night, I realized how much I truly missed my bed at home. Every night I had difficulty falling asleep. The first thing I did when I got back home was take a long nap on my very comfortable bed. With that experience, I can say that once you sleep on this mattress, you will NEVER go back to spring mattresses. Do yourself a favor and GET THIS MATTRESS!!!

I would have given this mattress 5/5 stars - but I had to give it 4 stars because of the delivery. It was scheduled for delivery 5 days before we finally received it (thank goodness only 3 out of those 5 days were working days). I took 3 days off work (without pay) - just to be home to receive it. Of course, I'd already disassembled our old bed and mattress - and had the new platform bed frame ready - but, we ended up sleeping between the guest bedroom and the couches for 4 nights in a row (my husband is a big guy - 6'4" and the queen bed in the guest bedroom is just about OK for him alone to sleep in!). The delivery driver was no help. We live in a very quiet subdivision - and the delivery man had his stereo turned up to the max, to the point where we couldn't communicate! but he didn't budge an inch to turn it down. I had a hand cart (dolly) with me - the driver offered practically no assistance - the only thing that he seemed to be interested in was our Rottweiller and asking questions such as, do we breed Rotties. At some point, he actually put his hand on one side of the mattress and made out as if he was lending some help, while holding his electronic device with the other. I managed to pull the mattress off the truck and put it on the dolly by myself - I had to scream over the loud music if I needed to sign anything, since he was heading back to the truck already ... FINALLY, I managed to wheel the dolly across the front yard with 2 dogs in tow and get it up 6 steps to the house and then drag the mattress into the bedroom - because at some point, I had to take it off the dolly because it wouldn't turn a corner into the hallway! Be careful with the black fabric duffel bag - it leaves black stains everywhere (including walls and carpet!) - make sure you wash your hands after you touch it - and before taking off the plastic that encases the mattress (otherwise you're going to stain your new mattress!). The easiest part was actually taking the plastic off and laying the mattress the right side up on the bed. I bought a California King bed frame (from West Elm) that I'd set up and was ready for the mattress - the length of the mattress fits perfectly - the width of the mattress is about 1 inch wider than the actual bed frame (one side of the mattress actually rests on the wooden platform - the other side hangs on the edge of the bed's side frame - but that's OK). The zippered mattress encasement is quite nice. It's a soft "woolly" ivory colored fabric - and the sides are a taupe color (feels like microfiber - very nice). Throughout the afternoon - I had a tape measure with me every time I went into the bedroom and measured the mattress's progress ... within about 2hrs the mattress had reached it's maximum - approximately 13 inches. It's perfect - saves on buying all new sheets to fit a deeper mattress! The mattress has about 3 inches of softer foam at the top - and the rest is hard foam. It's a hard mattress (perfect for us) - but for those who think they're going to sink into a fluffy cloud, this is not it - UNLESS of course you add additional padding (such as a "goose down featherbed" etc.). After about 8hrs of decompressing - and having reached 13 inches for several hours now - I put fresh bedding on and it was time for bed. IT WAS THE PERFECT SLEEP! After both my husband and I having complained for almost 2yrs with back pains and searching and researching everywhere for a good mattress - we finally found it here. We didn't want to get out of bed - that's both a con and pro (depending on what day of the week it is - weekends will be glorious for long overdue sleep-ins). We woke up without ANY PAINS. We feel refreshed - and ready to go. I don't know how long this mattress is going to last - but one thing is for sure - we couldn't have found a more PERFECT mattress at this price - so if it lasts 3-4yrs - it's money worth spent.

I have had a waterbed for 20 years, so switching to this type of bed was a big change for me. I must say, I am so glad we made the decision to change! My husband and I both have back problems, and this bed has helped so much. It is very comfortable and forms to your body. I would highly recommend this mattress to anyone.

I bouight this matress for the simple reason that my husband moves a lot when he is sleeping and I am a light sleeper. I thought that this memory foam mattress will solve my probelm but it did not. The motion was reduced to 50 % only maybe because I used our old bed box from our spring mattress. I still get occasional sleep interruptions. The foam gets too hot and it creates body heat .When I touched my skin it was really warm, feels likeI have a fever. It is good in winter time but since the weather in L.A is almost spring weather the heat is very untolerable. I would wake up sweaty in the middle of the night. I have to put a comforter on top of it to sleep on to reduce the heat. It is soft and firm and it is really comfortable. The delivery was ok ,it was handled very well. I ordered it on Monday and it arrived on Thursday. We slept on it the first night since we got rid our old mattress already.It took just 2 hour for the foam to expand to it's full size and it is only 13 inches and not 14 inches to this date and the smell is very minimal. I can not sleep directly on in it with just the fitted sheet becuase it gives me a burning heat feeling. I'm looking for a cover that would help to cool the mattress. I am stuck with it so might as well look for alternatives. That's the only complain I have. I don't know how much heat it's gonna build up on summertime. My husband is a deep sleeper he would not notice anything. jm L.A Ca.
