Instructions not clear and concise.
Great futon, great price. The only set back was the instructions for assembly were poor. Whoever translated the instructions should look for a new job. Also two of the bolts were bent. Good thing I didn't need them (they were for a metal frame and I ordered a wood frame). Overall, am quite happy with my purchase.

Good purchase
Overall I'm pleased with this purchase. Two concerns: 1). when is it laid out as a bed it has the tendency to tip forward.(I've rectified this) 2). The mattress is not as comfortable as I'd prefer. The look and finish of this product, however is very good. I would purchase again.

Great Product
I?m thrilled with my new futon. It came really fast. Took about an hour to assemble and boy does it look good. The top of the arm flips up with a storage compartment which also has a special cut out to hold a can of soda. The top of the arm is big enough to accommodate my dinner plate which is particularly useful since I don?t have space for an end table on both sides. The outside storage area holds lots of magazines and newspapers. I slept on my new futon the first night I got it and slept like a baby! I would highly recommend this futon and what a value. Overstock rocks!!!

Building
If you are hoping for an easy to put together futon frame look somewhere else. We had to re tap 50% of the holes, redrill the wood holes and buy new bolts. The item looks good and is comfortable but don't expect to sit in it the day it arrives!
